Find the area of the yellow square ?
Here we have the area of the blue square equal to 25, so the length of the square will be 5. Since we need to work out the area of the yellow square , let the length of the yellow square be x. For the red square the area is 4 so the side length of the square will be 2. So therefore the area of the largest square is 5 + x + 2 squared

If I assume 32 equal 2^5, is it incorrect made sqrt(x) + sqrt(x) equal 5?
Sorry must have missed this comment, so yes it will be incorrect to say sqrt(x) + sqrt(x) = 5. If we were multiplying the bases then using the Laws of indices we can add the powers, in this case we are adding powers. So you are right it will be incorrect. Hope this makes sense , thank you 🙏

@@Zadoramaths There was no need to insert a new variable, though. You can simplify 2^(sqrt)x+2^(sqrt)x to 2(2^(sqrt)x) and then proceed.
