This is a fun one. These old military rifles can have markings to help you piece together its history. This one has TLF 168, QEC 65, and ICTA 24. Each of these indicates who it was issued to as a regiment of unit. This is a Martini Enfield III made in 1881 and then rechambered to 303 in 1896.

Some time in the past Numrich Arms sold kit Nagant revolvers. These were model 1887 Swedish Nagant revolvers by Husqvarna. They only have on serial marking on the revolver is under the grip. These serials are NAC000. I have hard of up to number 102. Not sure how many were completed. How many were never done and parts lost. To me it is a curiosity more than anything. An example of a Swedish Naga...

The Budischowsky is the original version of this pistol in America. They were well made but also reasonable in price. Definitely not a Jennings or a Titan. Later they were made by Norton. The quality was still good but not as well finished as the originals. Both are definitely a great addition to a collection of pocket pistols.

The infamous Intratec company, known for the Tec9, had these as part of their lineup. The Protector, or per packaging Pro”tec”tor, was based on the older CZ24 design. These pistols were meant for close self defense. But being 25 is sometimes considered under powered. Underpowered or not you don’t want to get shot with a 25. Not poorly made but not as well made as a Norton TP-70.

These first model Llama pistols are some fun pieces. 1911 style but missing key things to be more like a 1911 design. Missing things like the grip safety and the tilting barrel. These re nice concealable pistols in the 1940’s with more power than a 25 but definitely not as much power as a 9mm Cort or 9mm Para.

The Mossberg model B was also marketed as the “Taylor Trapper’s Special”. These were made between 1928-1932. I don’t know got the Taylor roll mark vs the Model B mark. Simple single shot rifle. Some think these as a youth rifle and see them as an adults rifle. Either way simple and fun plinking.

Back in the 70’s Advanced Armaments Inc produced some of the first commercially available lowers. These were fitted with surplus barrels and Colt uppers. These had the original M16 type stock and hand guard. Fun and very functional pieces of history.

This model 1898 Krag is in a carbine configuration. I say that because this is one that was sold in the early 1900’s as a Carbine but is a modified rifle to achieve that. These were chambered in the 30-40 Krag caliber which was the military chambering for rifles before the 30-06 was adopted. These were chambered Krag had an interesting history. From use by Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders, ...

These Hamilton model 51 rifles were made 1935-41. These were a nice simple youth rifle. Simple bolt action with a manual cocking firing pin. These were treated rough because kids are rough with their belongings. I’m sure many met their demise being used as a bat or a club. Broken stocks. Bent or broken bolt handles. You name it I’m sure some kid did it. But the one thing you didn’t hear about w...

The only marking on the rifle is the number 1858. I know this could be a year but I am not willing to conclude that’s the case. The squirrel and eagle are both made of “German silver”. The barrel is round for the full length and is rifled. The bore is exact .360 inches. There are no proof marks. The barrel does taper. I believe the end cap and the part near the nipple are lead and were poured r...

Back before there was Armscor there was Squires Bingham. This is a Liberty Arms Model 20 semi auto with a 15 round magazine. I was incorrect in the video on how many rounds the mag holds. The compensator\flash hider on the end looks a lot like the Cutts compensator that you see on shotguns. These rifles are LR only. I know some are s, l, and lr but these are strictly lr.

I know…. It is not a gun lol. But I found this takedown aluminum recurve bow to be rather interesting. No indication of maker and I found no matching patent. Figured this may be an interesting thing to my viewers.

This is a rather interesting lever action martini style rifle made by Dresse Laloux & Cie. The rifle has multiple English proof marks like the crowned V. I to a measurement of the bore and figured out it is a 36 cal. I still need to cast the chamber to see what round it may need. There is a patent number 032202 dating to Mar 22, 1873 that goes to this rifle.

Flobert, gallery, or parlor guns were used to do indoor shooting in the 1800’s. This rifle is marked 22L for the 22 long cartridge. There are various styles of rifle and pistol that all fall into that Flobert category.

Interesting Ranger model 36 which was a modified Marlin model 80. These were made 1934-39. This is one of the earlier ones with the larger nut on the bottom to remove the barrel and all from the stock. The front sight has the original hood and the rear peep sight was attached to the rear of the bolt. Safe was pulling back on it and turning it clockwise. A very good example of an approximately 9...
