We are riding near a open pit mine, so it could have been a old scouting trail, or a hydro trail or maybe just a trail to get into the lake that we never followed correctly. You can see the mine to the left when I pop out on the lake.

@@Rich_Mixture mostly definitely, luckily this is spring time +10 degrees Celsius and only a 5 minute walk from home, the water in that particular spot is only a couple feet deep near the end

The Xtreme only comes with the 1.8” track, so I don’t have any info on a clutch clutch setup for the 2.5” track. Would love to try it though

I do, only because it’s quite the hassle trying to switch it back and fourth. I think it would have better floatation with it locked out but won’t reverse as good

I apologize with late comment! But better late than never right? lol It surprisingly handles very well on the trails. For a 20” track machine you can push it pretty hard. I wish there was a quicker way to lock out the rear skid though. When it’s unlocked and your on the trails the front end is pretty light coming out of turns when on the fuel which makes it want to wheelie. It’s fun, but when your trying to beat your buddies it’s a pain lol

I usually swap it in Low range as a soon as I get off a trail, I like the low end torque of it and I would think it’s easier on the belt. Sorry for the late response I’m new to this ha!

I have it cut shorter now, works much better

I have the same sled, I have cut the rear pad and now i'm looking to heat the rear part of my skis to bend it more as they are, for more backwards results

That's what I always wondering if the 2.5" brutal track will fit on the xtreme ? If yes it will be a beast for sure

@@simonmaranda3295 it will, clutching and gearing would need to be changed to get the most out of the sled. I’m waiting to see how the track holds on the locals sleds that bought the brutal

When breaking trail all day we have found both to be the same, when riding groomed trails or just on the lake they seem to be the same as well. The turbo does have the eco mode though, which should make it much better on fuel if used

Great review. I need to buy another sled. And the 900 ace is good but want extra power for performance

@@michaelpanacheese604 don’t forget about the new 600r motor, my friends have had great results so far with them. Light, good on fuel and a bit more power than the 900ace
