I Was WRONG About the Best Light in Photography!
Since an early age, November has been the time of year that press me into sad thoughts. When I wake up at 8 in the morning, I don’t feel grateful for the arrival of a new day; instead, my mind is filled with the worst curses, because it’s as dark as if I’d woken up at 3 a.m. During the day, it never gets sunny. The light remains dull, and by 4 p.m., it’s already starting to get dark. Every year, I get sick during this time and feel physically exhausted overall. By late August each year, I can no longer fully enjoy the summer, as the shadow of the cold, dark monster already looms.
I’ve been searching for a way to embrace November. The first hint came from The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde: “...

I think the YT algorithm is trying to tell me something 🤣
Just get all the lenses you want. We live only once.
Really good job! 💪I can't wait to see more of your progress in street photography and youtube!
@@arturofuillerat thank you! Very important words for a channel that's getting started
You nailed it with your analysis. I have several lenses that I bought used just because I saw a review or video about it. 😢
@@joseacarrasm yeah, it has to do with hormones of pleasure, when we buy something new.
Tactical supportive comment.
@@mastadas I guess it's more than I dare to ask 🤣
Excellent points Alex !
@@joshhoe thanks!
Got you in my feed, quite an accomplishment for a 70 sub channel. Now plus one with me. Great topic, well covered, decent audio, acceptable edit, pleasant to listen to with coffee here in the early morning hours in my place. Would suggest improving your background scene a bit, but otherwise, you did it, you pressed record, then publish, then upload. More than most people ever get done. Bon RUclips Voyage,
Thank you! It means a lot. Hope your early morning coffee was good. Really appreciate it!
Great video !
@@derkritiker7598 thank you very much!
Personally I "cycle" my gear. Every few months or so I choose a few cameras I'm not using and sell them, then use the money to upgrade the gear I'm actually using (like for example I'm upgrading from a Canon EOS 500D to an 80D soon because I'm selling a couple things). I like to think it's a good way of handling GAS lol
It is! For me it was a bit less intensive. I cycled lenses for a while until I ended up with a set I'm happy withz
nice videos like just for me, an addict to test and spend on digicams just for curiosity. putting aside the pro gear haha 😅
That addiction is harsh, man. Hope it brings joy and doesn't make you broke.
Nice video!🔥
Thanks 🔥
Great video bud 😊
Thank you!
What a great reflection. I always buy second hand and I think a lot about whether I really need new equipment. I would like to change my Canon DSLR equipment to Sony mirrorless, but I know that it is a whim and it will not allow me to do many more things than I already do. (I don't work in photography). My last purchase was a Sony RX100 VI and it allows me to take it where I would not take a large camera. By the way, very good quality of the video and story
Thank you very much! It means a lot, because it's my first video. How do you like RX100 VI? I would be a bit worried about the 1" sensor, how does it perform?
@@kalistratov_photos I did an ISO and sharpness test comparing the Sony RX100 VI (20MP 1") and the Canon 2000D (24MP APS-C), here's a summary. ISO: In any ISO range, the Sony has one stop more noise (S 3200 = C 6400) From ISO 125 to 400 it's not bothersome, from 800 to 3200 it's a bit bothersome and at 6400 there's too much noise, 12800 isn't even a reasonable option. This includes using Lightroom's Denoise AI from ISO 400 onwards. Sharpness and resolution: The Sony is the same or slightly sharper than the Canon with the 18-55 and 55-250 lenses even with fewer megapixels throughout the focal range. The problem comes when increasing the ISO. At ISO 800 the Canon is sharper than the sony. I guess the sony has a little less dynamic range but I haven't noticed anything. What I've learned: If there is enough light to shoot at iso 100 or 200, both cameras work the same. When taking exposures longer than 1s, the sony has to process the photo after taking it, in 30 second photos it takes considerably longer than the canon which is prepared for BULB mode (both RAW). I hope I've helped you

Great video! Welcome to YT bro. Impressed to see you with so much confidence in camera!

How do you light meter?
Hello, sunny 16 rule, plus my own feeling, plus an iphone app when I have doubts
Lol, I do the same with my Konica IIIA although that camera doesn't feel like it was built in 1958.
I think back in 1958 things were built to last... I can't help by admire the build quality of those cameras

Great I would suggest get horizon straight 😜
Thank you! In fact I know what I'm doing. The leading lines are more important than the horizon line in my eyes.
Amazing brief. I understand everything now. Great short!
