LOL Spend some time in Colorado
The young guy in the video doesn't look happy he never smiled once.
I keep looking and replaying but I just don’t see the snow. Oh, you mean that little dusting of white stuff?
Groovy show. To many people.
True
Looking at property in Dripping Springs!!
How much does it cost to get in?

What a great trip, hope to do this soon
Very nice video. I own a couple of Model Xs and am considering a NuCamp T@B 400. What is your average Wh/mi when towing at 55 mph? What is the battery drain when using the heat pump AC in the T@B 400 for an hour? Do you have a website with more information or a spreadsheet of data you don't mind sharing with me?
The best ice cream in the Port at Slugs and Stones and Ice Cream Cones. You never got to Brookings. You were in Harbor, a town of 2,200. Brookings was north across the Chetco Bridge. A town of 6,700, with a lot of very good restaurants and retail.
Second like from Mexico. Saludos!
It’s great to see this clip, as I’m from Siam aka. Thailand and love history. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cypress tree's.
When I was in BSA, we used to do a yearly camp out there, where we would do activities with cub scouts looking to advance (think bribing cub scouts to join our troop). My first ever trip there, when l was advancing, we partnered with the georgetown college football team to excavate the basement. Football guys brought us buckets of sand, while we sifted it. We found old china, porcelein figurines, a few squirrel skeletons, etc. On my last trip there, was another guy's eagle project. We helped move shingles from the old roof down to the basement. That had sat in the attic for so long, the floor was starting bow under them, being slate. In fact the side of the attic with the bed frame, was where we removed the shingles from.
i adore Wardhall and Ron. my family has been touring since Ms Susong gave tours in the 80s. i recently completed a recreation of Sallie’s dress in that portrait as well 😊 so glad you loved the tour!!!
Living in Roy. 33miles north
Still love Andy Griffith!! ❤️
While the Andy Griffith show was transmitted in homes across America, just a few counties over in the Deep South was a real tall walking American Sheriff. Buford Pusser’s real life saga was a contrast to make believe. While we enjoyed the cleverly scripted comedy Andy and Barney portrayed in every episode. Real Sheriffs had hot messes in their jurisdictions. I just seen a documentary about Buford Pusser, and noticed the dates correspond in the 60’s… Not to leave out the nameless Sheriffs in the south that would at their “discretion” pull over cars with out of state plates to ask the driver; “Do you know where you are?” You’re in a heap of trouble…
Love your videos 😊
Interesting comment "useless war for the south"
Nice, very nice. I really enjoy traveling with you across the country. 😊
I have never seen a practice, thank you for sharing.
I stumbled into a most unique opportunity to have an extensive tour of this building a number of years ago. The building is so large, sometimes navigating around it is like a maze. Got to tour all above the ceiling you showed in your video. Having once upon a time in my life being a stage manager, I was in total awe to the extent of the staging, sound system, structure as a whole. Absolutely stunning tour, one I will never ever forget. It really takes a team of people to put together an event in there and they do a stunning-amazing job with it. And the structure is built for so much variety. The history of how it evolved is equally impressive to know, watch, and follow. A huge problem they had is with the sound system. The space was so large that you had serious problems with reverbing echoes. They had to figure a way to equalize the sound which actually took a few years to finally tune it in right. Even at that there are still a few dead spots, but mostly on the stage area. I would love to work with those challenges and do that kind of thing once again.
Ya Hots is the correct pronunciation.
I always enjoy visiting presidential museums. They are always so interesting.
I love, love, love the conference center soooooooooooooo much and hope my hubby and I can get tickets to go to conference in a few days.
Did you get a chance to attend?
Thank you so much for posting this.❤
By the way, the organist is playing the organ console to the immediate right of the conductor. (The organist is wearing a white shirt. )The organ console is the big brown box and has five or six manuals or keyboards.
That was so great to see your perspective. I was one of the singers up there. This video appeared organically in my RUclips recommendations and I’m glad it did.
"We invite you to stay as long as you would like." Ha, he forgot to say "...until we close."
Oh, my sister Gina Bench is up there! She had been in the choir for about a year and a half by this time (but her first Music and the Spoken Word came later in 2023, April 23; though not in general conference until October), and I was there on Sunday the 4th when they performed THIS program! Some of Gina's and my FAVORITE spiritual songs, especially My Shepherd...! And then I watched their Sunday rehearsal between M/SW and my church meetings. And now, with the September '24 release of additional hymns for the new book, we learn that this My Shepherd song will be in it! --Mike A. Christensen
I loved that you showed all that wonderful art in the Conference Center. That's what we're all about. We're The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is everything to us.
Thank you so much. As a fan of the choir this is exactly what I've always wanted to see.
avoid calling us Mormon
@@marronraven2389 Sorry, but I did not realize this was improper nonmenclature. Over the past couple of years we have gained great respect for the sincerity of your religion, having visited Nauvoo IL and St George, and it was really impressive to visit the Conference Center and see the choir, and we really appreciate the spectacular buildings and monuments, and especially the welcoming and friendly attitude of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
@@somewherecamping bro hope you enjoy everything and hope you feel the spirit while discovering our church teaching and history
@@somewherecamping Me, personally doesn't mind being called Mormon, But we are trying to get to the focus of He who's church this is. Jesus Christ of latter day saints.

The Spirit of God is truly at work. Absolutely beautiful
Thank you for focusing on this world renowned choir. But you need to know two things: The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, the choir’s correct name, has never rehearsed in the Temple. It rehearses in the Conference Center during the summer because of the size of the crowds who want to observe. I hope you truly enjoyed the privilege of being there.
Wow! Just beautiful! You can definitely feel the Spirit, even during practice. His prayer really touched my heart. I absolutely love the Tabernacle choir!
I love this! Thanks for sharing mpre things about the building. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I listen to Music and the Spoken Word most Sundays. The episode they were practicing for here is August 4th's: m.ruclips.net/video/9QKjokI3l9c/видео.html&pp=ygUnbXVzaWMgYW5kIHRoZSBzcG9rZW4gd29yZCBhdWd1c3QgNCAyMDI0 I have gotten to see the Conference Center a few times but not when anyone was using it, and I have only attended one live broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word before. In two more weekends the church is having its twice-yearly General Conference... anyone anywhere in the world is welcome to tune in to any part of it and hear this choir and also true prophets and apostles called by God to share with us what the Lord is saying for our upcoming six months especially! www.churchofjesuschrist.org/feature/general-conference?lang=eng I love that you were able to visit the area! My parents were married in the Salt Lake temple back when, and we are excited for the open house for the public to see it, and then its dedication for use by members of the church, when the renovations are finished in another year or two.
thanks for sharing
Have you ever driven on the madera canyon road towards the livermoore trailhead?
I think I saw where you two had visited "This is the Place" monument, if that was not it, then it looked similar. Back in the 1980-s '90's, I knew an elderly man whose mother was one of the original Hand Cart pioneers. Thank you for your wonderful channel! That owl is gorgeous! Just amazing!
"This is the Place" video is coming next, you must have looked ahead at our playlist. Thanks for your comment.
Why is it called Antelope Island?
I think there were lots of antelopes on the island when it was discovered, by Kit Carson et.al.
Antelope Island in Utah was named after the pronghorn antelope that John C. Fremont and Kit Carson observed grazing on the island in 1845:
There’s so much more to Brookings than what you see here, we have several incredible beaches within our town and many more all along the southern Oregon coast. Chetco point should not be missed if you visit this area. There are also many great hiking trails in the area. There are also two state parks with fantastic campgrounds in Brookings, Loeb state park is a couple miles up the Chetco River and Harris Beach state park is at the north end of town right on Pacific Ocean. Both parks are typically full in the summer and you definitely want to get reservations in advance, although the spring and fall are very nice weather and much less crowded. There are several charter fishing boats that operate out of the harbor as well the rock fish are always around, salmon and even tuna if you’re lucky enough to be here at the right time.
Agree! I lived there for 5 years in the 90s. This video spends too much time walking among cars/campers before they even show anything !
It's a shame, but a wonderful old restaurant in Boise has closed. I can't remember if it was Cantonese, or Chinese, but it was there since the 1940's or '50's. It was a Chinese version of a coffee shop restaurant, long rows of booths, but they had the best food. Probably why they were in business for so long, only until recent. I saw a post about it on my FB page, I only lived in Idaho briefly, many years ago.

I served st Ft Leavenworth as a guard in the USDB 1974-1976. You missed a great experience to walk through the old prison. They coverted the inmate visitors room into a cafe. Missing is the Castle, who's dome you could see as you crossed the bridge from Missouri.
When you've been through major earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, drought, fires, tornadoes, you know that the rain is cleansing and the air is clean to breath. I've never complained about rain here for 40 years. Brings beauty
If you can plan ahead, check out Rasar State Park which is nearby. A far nicer park and reasonably priced compared to KOA.
