Just a quick heads up. When you apply electrical insulation tape, cut it, don't snap it. It'll shrink back eventually and be a mess. Also if you're soldering to something that might be heat sensitive, use a pair of long nose pliers, get hold of the tang between the sensitive part and the part you're soldering to act as a heat shunt. It saves on melting contact mountings. Good guide. Simple and straight to the point..
Can this mosfet be programmed for burst or fire rate?
Can this be installed in a p90 ?
I know there has already been a comment asking if there is just a good plug and play mosfet but is there one that protects your trigger contacts from frying (using an 11.1v lipo) without soldering?
Id honestly just use new wires. Most wires used in airsoft 16 or 18 gauge silver plated silicone wires.

2:06 Why did you solder two wires together? Don't do that. Desolder the deans and resolder it onto the wire.
Does the trigger contacts polarity matter?
What if I put the fuse between the mosfet and the battery It's the same thing I think

My friend got one of these and wants me to install it. Before I start this is there a specific routing you would recommend for the wires to prevent the motor from shredding them in a v2?

Nothing, that's plenty buddy :)
Another fuse. I personally have four fuses on my rig. Anything more than that is overkill.
Is there any mosfet alternative out there where you don't need soldering?
Yes, there is a good 'plug & play' MOSFET which has some great features. It also has the option to be soldered in later on if you change your mind. There are some good reviews of this. Late reply for future readers. Yes but those plug'n play mosfets do NOT protect your trigger contacts.

Decent guide, that's a lot of heat going in though - both on the soldering and the heat gun application, I'm sure it works fine though
What is the correct orientation of the dual signal wire?
I am still trying to find this out
Just guessing, but the trigger becomes a "signal" wire just completing a curcuit, so polarity doesn't matter, it just "closes a loop" for the mosfet.
ampheres of fuse or capacity? hope you can help me with my nano ASR mosfet also,is it the same install guide? i bought it tought it will be coming with a instructions manual,it doesnt :)
doyou have install guide video for Nano ASR? what fuse do you need to put between the lipo and the NANo ssr mosfet?any simpe fuse?did you put yours?
I think Gate is recommend 30A fuses...i am not sure...

yes, they both come with the mosfet and they plug into the actual mosfet unit

I really like the NanoSSR, it is very simple to install and the plug system is rather NICE, since you can remove the mosfet fast to another gun if there are the same signal wire. Have worked with 11.1 v lipo easily, no failures yet.

My gun has completely stock internals. Here is what I have added: MOE handguard CTR stock 551 holographic sight (cheap replica) As for the paintjob, I painted it myself using a mix of olive drab, mud brown and tan spray paints. If you're thinking of painting your own gun I can upload a tutorial of how I did mine if you want. Let me know :) Thanks for the comment!

AllRoundAirsoft Why no 1080p?
The 1080p doesn't give as much of a wide angle view. I thought it would be better to compromise on the video quality to make sure I fit all the action in. I will try it next time though to see how it turns out. If it doesn't cut too much out then I'll film in 1080p from then on. Thanks.
