Final SEE Exam Update | CRNA School Chronicles
In this video, I share my journey of tackling the Self-Evaluation Examination (SEE) hosted by the NBCRNA-a critical milestone for any SRNA preparing for CRNA boards. This video dives into my scores across three attempts (449, 447, and finally 456) and the strategies I used to turn my challenges into success on my final attempt.
After falling just one point short of the 450 passing benchmark on my first attempt and scoring slightly lower on my second attempt, I took a hard look at my study methods. I highlight how I used these setbacks to identify my weaknesses and refocused my studies. I dedicated my final four weeks to thoroughly reviewing APEX Anesthesia and filling in knowledge gaps, al...

I'm trying not to give any spoilers but I love how analytically and clearly you share your educational experiences. Thank you for letting us learn and go through the journey with you! You're so close to done! 🤗
Great analysis of areas and improvements.
im soooo happy for you!!!
Congratulations Jeena!
Congratulations! The finish line is right in front of you! 🥳❤🎓
I have been watching your videos for so long. I am genuinely so proud of you. Idk how to explain it but it felt like I was there with you on this difficult but rewarding journey. Thank you for all your updates!!!!
Congratulations!! So inspiring!
This is so incredible. I remember your video where you were having trouble with driving the beds! And now you’re here at the end. Your videos have been inspirational to me on my journey. I start clinicals in May!
Congratulations Jeena! I’ve recently started my program and really questioning if I can do this. This is so inspiring!
Wow! Congratulations on all your hardwork 🎉😊!!!You did it!
Would you happen to have a curriculum outline of your program classes by semester? I can't seem to find one online.
I’m a newer NICU nurse that’s considering CRNA within the next 10 years. If you could do it over again, would you do a few years in adult ICU or do you feel NICU experience was adequate?
Can’t believe it’s gone by so quickly! Well maybe not for you lol. I remember watching you when you first started. I’m an RRT who is now in nursing school hoping to one day become a crna and your videos have always been motivating. Congrats to you!
Right on Jeena!! You're such an inspiration for me! I'm starting my nursing career at the ADN level in Jan '25. Ultimately, the goal is CRNA. I'm relatively new to your channel but, I've seen enough to know that even achieving the SRNA title is challenging. I thank you for showing the way and I'll continue watching and praying for you as you push forward. Blessings🙏🏾🙏🏾
I have a high GPA, but struggling to score well on GRE😢
@@NicKYKmic maybe look into schools that no longer require the GRE. you’ll get an acceptance!
First, thank you for taking the time to make this video. Your time is very limited, I'm sure. I'm starting my nursing journey in Jan 2025; with future CRNA aspirations. I was an aircraft mechanic in the Air Force for 20 years and a truck driver for 5 years so, the transition to nursing will be challenging. But, I'm all in! I'm so appreciative for your video because, you show in real-time, what the journey is. It's one thing to talk about the journey after you've achieved success; it's something else to witness the planning, studying, distractions, frustrations, fatigue, fear/doubts, failures, bounce-backs and re-engagement. This is your real-world account of being an SRNA. Your diligence is very inspiring for me; even as a new nursing student. I'm not sure if you're a Christian but.....my prayer is that your faith in God's ability to strengthen your mind; from your ability to recall concepts to their application in clinicals, will be overflowing. May the Holy Spirit within you, constantly remind you of His presence and give you abundant, mental, emotional, and physical endurance. Amen.
I love this! Thank you for showing the step-by-step of it all. Has the wallpaper stayed up through the humidity?
Hi!!! I’m sorry you didn’t get the score you needed the first go around, but you were literally almost there! I believe in you, and I’m sure the second time around you’re going to pass!! Btw I’ve been watching you since the very beginning and you have truly motivated me to continue with my dream of going to CRNA school despite my gpa. I cannot thank you enough for your motivation, and I cannot wait to see you officially become a CRNA 🎉!
Im digging the shades.
I like how you quickly go straight to the point Thank you
It was helpful Jeena. I have Goodnotes and I’ve been using it for 3 years now, but i really need the endless horizontal space when I’m studying to write notes
Yes, exactly why I switched. Love doing long brain dumps and mind maps
Hi stranger. You don't know me, but I'm so proud of you. I plan to go to CRNA school in the future and I've been watching your videos all the way from the first "bad" clinical video with you crashing into walls to you now almost done!! You're going to make an amazing anesthesia provider. Good luck with everything!!! :)
Aww 🥰 thank you so much for following along in my journey! It means so much! Thank you!! Looking forward to hearing your success story!

You can do it! 1 freaking point away
I was 1 point away from college ready on my ged.. I guess I might as well just give up..
there are a lot of questions on a lot of tests you don't get taught to solve in school, that is pretty typical. For reference, on the GED test, each section will just keep getting more difficult after every question if you answer correctly. despite high school students taking these tests, if they are successfully answering the university level questions, it will be reflected in their score. these schools dont teach you everything, just what you need to pass.. if you want to learn everything that's up to you.. also in case you havent already heard.. "Killer questions are designed for students in the top one percent" "killer questions are requiring knowledge beyond the scope of students" prompt: what are killer questions in school? Gemini: "Killer questions" are a term used to describe extremely difficult questions that are sometimes outside the scope of a school's curriculum. In the context of a school lesson, a "killer question" might be a question that is very difficult for students to answer, but the teacher knows the answer and the question is related to the lesson's objectives. Basically, pimp questions being presented to you on your exams.
OMGosh, thank you so much for this! I wish I would have seen this before my interview 😊
@@MsEmaldonado 🥰🥰🥰 thanks for watching!!

I’m so proud of your maturity and growth! Hang in there. 11 weeks is nothing compared to when you started almost 3 yrs ago. It’s been wonderful to have your here with us. As you can tell, I’m not in a hurry for you to finish and leave us.
So glad to see you still progressing and thank you for keeping us updated. We’re rooting for you Jeena! You’re going to be an amazing CRNA before you know it! And hopefully an educator too! ❤👩🏻⚕️🤗

Hey! I know this is an old video, but what has been the best approach to studying in CRNA school for you? I’m starting soon and I’m nervous, been out of school for a bit.
It took me a while to get into the swing of things when I first started. I stumbled a ton in the beginning. Made a schedule and tried to stick to it and a bunch of checklists. Each semester got easier and easier once you get comfortable being a student again. Recording the lectures helped me soooooo much! I would listen to them several times before the exams. Hope this helps!
Truly enjoy all your content. Heading into second semester, hope to catch up to you eventually
Hey, loved the vibe🙌! I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, I was wondering if I could help you create a better distribution by working on post-production like better storytelling through Edits, Keywords, think catchy intros and outros, or even some engaging short clips! Would love to chat if you're interested and keep creating good content:)
Hey Jeena, I’m a subscriber and wanted to let you know I found your channel when I was prepping for crna school interviews. I had 2 interviews! One was a couple weeks ago which I haven’t heard back from yet, and the other that I interviewed this past Thursday notified me on Saturday that I’m accepted starting next year! So thank you for your tips and advice and I will continue to follow along your journey to hopefully help me in school also. Congrats on all your hard work!
I’m at Keiser in semester 3, they are now making us have 450 and passing by end of 4th semester😭😭 thank you for your videos !!
Please dont stop making these, it's preparing me for my journey.
What is considered a bread and butter case?
Ortho, lap choles, lap appys. Essentially healthy patients
@@jeenaalexandrasrna i appreciate your response
Don’t worry 6 months will fly by! I’m so proud of you.
Is your program DNP or DNAP? Is there really a difference?
My program is DNAP. They are both clinical based degrees, but it is because the program is offered from a school that is not under a specific “school of nursing”. Technically it can be considered a non-terminal degree. This website has a little blurb about the difference if you care to read it over. thecrna.com/dnap-vs-dnp-understanding-the-difference/
@@jeenaalexandrasrna thanks for the reply. Congrats on how far you’ve come. You’re almost at the finish line and it’ll all be worth it! Keep pushing!
Congratulations 👍 I'm a CRNA,an IEN, can I practice in Canada
Wow, amazing!! 😊 You're almost done!!🎉 Congratulations!!
Did your program do the last 60 credits of the gpa? And which program did you attend if you don't mind me asking? Thank you.
Hi, I've been following your videos for a long time. You're pretty brave for doing these videos while in CRNA school, so thank you for taking the time to do these and sharing your experience with us.🙏😎 I'm looking for schools that accept the last 60 hr credits. I believe you mentioned awhile back that your school accepted the last 60 hrs. Which school do you attend for your CRNA program, if you don't mind? And is the GRE required? I would love to learn more about it. Thank you.
I am at Keiser University in Naples, FL. I believe they recently dropped the GRE requirement, but don’t quote me on that.
Thank you for watching!
@@jeenaalexandrasrna Thank you so much. Will follow up with them on that.
Thanks for sharing the trials and tribulations, helps to really give perspective in the whole process. End result looks amazing so you did a fantastic job
what crna school did u attend
Keiser University in Naples, FL
Way to go!!! Only 12 more months!!! 🎉❤🎉❤
On average how many papers do you think you had to write each semester and how long were they? I know it should be the least of my worries, but I hate and suck at writing papers so a doctorate program makes me nervous in that regard lol.
Does it have specific sections for patho/physiology?
why would you add that ICU experience in the total amount of time to become a CRNA? for medical school and AA school, having healthcare experience is a critical part of the application, for which, students take a gap year to gain healthcare experience. this can easily be a year or two. we don't add this to the total amount of training. it does not seem to be a very fair comparison in that regard. my opinion is that all types of healthcare experience are essential for provider roles.
LETS GOOOO, Im in my way to crna school. its alot of work but in the end is worth it.
❤
