To all of you that hate Buffy here, I’m glad I’m not your friends or know you. Faith assaulted and tried to kill Buffy’s mom, she raped her boyfriend, stole her body. Buffy was NOT wrong for this. She needed to stop Faith. ANGEL is the one who wanted to suddenly allow his mission for redemption to trump the obvious, faith needed to go to jail. I love faiths character and I’m glad she changed, but Buffy was not wrong and I absolutely hate that some of you call her self righteous when she truly had every right to hunt that girl down

Well it's not really surprising that Lindsey comes back in S.5. In S.1 the episode blind date, where he became disillusioned with WFH killing kids and helped Angel to stop them, he had his chance to walk away after seeing how WFH had no qualms or limits about committing heinous acts, and being complicit in it. He decides to stay because Holland tempted him with riches and a promotion. Linsdey may have his own "code"and his moments of moral crisis's, but he's no heroe or good guy, he'll always choose power in the end. Not to mention the fact, he harbours a grudge against Angel, for taking his hand, taking Darla and stealing his thunder at WFH / Senoir partners attention. So in a way, coming back in S.5 was an attempt at payback and closure.

Buffy gets a new bad every season while Angel fights the law firm in every season.
