It usually just happens when you try to put one close to either a piece of land you don't own or too close to a building in general is what I've found. On this particular build, I would get that alert when trying to place something too close to the road between the fields kinda thing, and on my other Hutan build, I got it when trying to place something too close to a building (my water tank in my case). I don't know of a way to prevent that for now, but I'm sure someone will come up with a "build anywhere" sort of mod at some point here that could resolve it.

Hey thanks! Yeah, I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out for sure. Learned some lessons along the way and had to redo some stuff... namely the sheep barn. Turns out, if you place the custom pen over an existing field, it still counts the weed level for that field. So, I had like giant weeds sticking up in the middle of their pen. But yeah, I like this area for sure.

I wonder if you go in and paint the area first and then place sheep pen with fence and do meadow if that would work to avoid the weeds

Yep, that is what works and what should be done... I just learned the hard way ha. I removed this sheep pen, painted the area with grass, and then put the sheep pen and meadow back in and it seems to work perfectly fine now with no weeds.

I'm not sure... it hasn't been super buggy for me all in all. Sometimes there is a delay in when I click versus when the action actually takes place, but it's been decent overall. I know if you get too close to like roads and whatnot, it won't let you do anything. I also don't really use the raise/lower function either... this was pretty much all done using the level tool as well as the sloping and soften tools. I find the raise/lower tool is tough to use in any game that uses it (used to try it in Cities: Skylines as well). There is the intensity (I believe it's called that) setting, so maybe that could help if it's changing extremely fast kinda thing.

@@Gopper_Gaming-Simulation I am going to try taking out the mod for Terra form everywhere. Maybe that’s it. When I use it, my money goes away and a couple seconds later the ground starts moving. So it’s really hard to use with any kind of precision

Interesting... I haven't used that mod. But yeah, I'm sure that could cause some wonky things to occur. Hopefully doing that works for you.

Well done. It has to be mentioned, there’s a recent Modhub mod that makes painting and sculpting free now, I’m sure you know. Haven’t tried it yet.

Yeah, honestly, I haven't messed around with the AI worker much either. The GPS system is super nice, which is all I've really tried out so far. This was all done that way. Definitely want to figure out the AI stuff though... It'd be useful once my farms get bigger for sure

Yeah. I think there is only one silo that allows you to store them in it though. Not a lot of options

Haha yes. Farmland is definitely more fun to create now. At least the fields... still kinda miss the old industry setup from the first game though.

Right now, my production and storage buildings are on fields 40 and 41, while I farm 36, 37, 39, 43, 42, 47, and 50. 38 is the next one I will purchase, and I kinda changed the configuration of them a bit. Not sure if it'll make sense, but I extended the road between fields 42 and 43 all the way out to the road by field 36. So, this particular field is actually the lower portion of fields 37 and 39 from below that road, all combined into one long field.
