I mean you can see what was done. The graphics were protected, the stainless was then sanded down far enough that the scratches were gone, then a higher grit final sand to get the desired finish. But you can also see the finish isn’t a perfect match, as there is a line underneath the logo at the top, probably because there was no way to get a perfect blend nor way to get up to the logo without damaging it.

Just sanding

By carefully drilling a precise hole at the end of the glass crack, we have successfully prevented it from spreading further. Once this step is completed, we apply glass epoxy into the hole. This particular glass pane, which is both rare and costly to replace, measures approximately 40 feet in length by 6 feet in width. Various measures can be taken to avoid the need for a full replacement.

The crack in the glass will persist and potentially worsen due to the combined effects of contraction, expansion, and the movements induced by weather conditions and traffic. New York City experiences significant temperature fluctuations, exacerbating this issue. Applying a patch over the crack can help contain the forces acting in that specific direction, thereby averting further cracking. Although the patch may not initially appear visually appealing, it is a crucial preventative measure that must be taken promptly to address the problem effectively and avoid costly glass replacement in the future.
