    This is an exceptionally well-built hobby power washer with really excellent cleaning power. Very reliable, easy to fix (DIY), affordable spare parts, and compared to other hobby brands parts are available even 10 years and later after the production of the models like this. I had to replace the Start-Stop Valve as well when I bought mine - it was 7 years old and broken (used & abused by the previous owner). Very easy and simple process - I did record it. These machines will run to ordinary home owner forever. We can argue whether it is worth spending over 300 Euro or more for it as for little bit more money you can get some baseline professional power washers such as Annovi Reverberi Blue Clean 590 but I am not afraid to recommend this power washer or (Nilfisk E 130,3, Nilfisk E 145.3 have the same spare parts list) or other Nilfisk power washers from this line or higher (even C.130 and C. 135 ... from the lower line are great) to any of my friends. What I like the most when it comes to those Excellent line Nilfisk power washers with induction motors (brushless - long life) and metal pumps is the simplicity of how it is built. One smart man (L.D.V) 500 years ago said: Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication". He was right. I own the same Nilfisk, I bought mine for less than 50 Euro and I have fixed all the issues it had. Check the internet please (youtube) how for example Karcher K 7 looks inside. You won´t believe that it is even a German brand and model. The outside design is O.K., but how they designed it inside is unbelievable. Not easy for ordinary people to fix it compared to this Nilfisk model, not to mention the prices of spare parts. Recently I was fixing an old German hot pressure washer Electra Beckum HD 100 HW (30 years old), made in cooperation with the great Italian company Portotecnica (now IPC) and one would not believe how well-built it was and how easy (and cheap) is to fix it and get spare parts (I mean O-rings, Oil seals, etc.) even the company does not exist anymore. Other brands still produce more-less the same model under other brand names. When it comes to Nilfisk E.140.3 I have even made a video on how to fix it if, after years of good service, something goes wrong. Hope it helps somebody. Thanks for your video Leif, it did help me a little bit. Good luck. S. ruclips.net/p/PL59Co9iveKeo2B4wvzHleZdYWYqd1OOtF

    Hi, sorry, not good in your language. Could you please specify, what where the symptoms why you did this repair? My Nilfisk 140.2. has the following problem: If I give it a normal water pressure from regular water source, it reduces the power of the high pressure pump. If I limit/reduce the power of the waterflow, the pump starts pushing more pressure, but still not enough. When I increase the regular water pressure, the compressor reduces its power again to very poor.

    • @Tobbe...
      @Tobbe... 2 года назад

      The symptoms of the pressure washer in the clip is that the washer doesn't start when you pull the trigger. From your description I would guess that you have some kind of leak somewhere to or from the motor, have you tried to remove the cover and attach water hose to the inlet just to see if there's some obvious leak?

    @Leif Helge: Bytte du ut delarna eller endast tog isär och fettade in och monterade ihop? Jag har en Stihl RE130 som ser väldigt likadan ut. Tog isär den men det sitter inte en oring i min utan någon annan form av packning så kunde inte lossa något. Jag fattade in med Glidex men tyvärr löstes inte problemet. Frågan är om jag ska köpa nya delar och i så fall vad?

      @@RodLaycock Cool. I've still been having issues with it myself but had some recent success. Had to go to the point of having half of the machine open and connected to the water with the micro switch disconnected. Turned the lance on, turned the machine on then turned the lance off. Pressure activated the pin so I switched the unit off. activated lance to release pressure and nothing. Pushed the pin back and no pun intended rinsed and repeat. Eventually the pin got lubed enough to act with the spring and reset itself. The problem is there's usually too much friction on the pin for the spring to work and it's a bloody strong spring.

    Thanks for the video. I've just done mine and seems to have fixed it. Just a point to note that caught me out. There are 2 Stainless steel washers that should be fitted at each end of the spring. One stayed inside the housing when I disassembled it and so I mistakenly fitted the one that did come out at the plain spigot end which effectively meant that both washers were fitted at same end. I don't know if this was the cause of the fuse blowing when I flashed it up after reassembly but when I stripped it down again I realised my mistake and put one washer at either end of the spring. The nut went on a lot easier this time too. I also took the opportunity to replace the small green washer at the pistol end which was worn and may also have been bleeding pressure causing the machine to pulse.

    For those who have smaller types of Nilfisk, like the 125, 110. Then they have a smaller type of valves than the regular ones and are hard to find. I ordered this wrong once but managed to find the right parts at ServiceCompaniet AS Norway.

    Hei, har skiftet start stopp ventil, men etter dette står vaskeren bare å jager - start stopp start stopp i sekundtakt, men når jeg trykker inn håndtaket går den som den skal, jagingen er kun når jeg slipper håndtaket. På forhånd takk.

      Det var en røket o-ring som blokkerte ventilen. Jeg erstattet denne med en ny fra et o-ring sett, når jager den slik du beskriver så jeg ender nok opp med å bestille en ny ventil med riktige o-ringer.

    Thank you! I used this video to guide a mini service on my Nilfisk 140.4 after it displayed the same problem. Soaked the valve parts in white vinegar to get rid of limescale. Used 1" socket to carefully remove valve assembly. Washing up liquid and gentle tap from rubber mallet to reattach micro switch housing. Works better than new now.

    Fabulous video, but you stopped short of the most difficult bit at the end! Pushing the micro switch back onto a new valve is impossible! No hand pressure is strong enough, so, if you get stuck, here's how to do it. Get a good strong 'G' clamp, anchor one side onto the metal body where the valve screws in to, then, with the aid of a friend (!), align the 'push' connector of the micro switch onto your new valve, and tighten the G clamp. It will pop into place. An awful design and I have no idea why they just didn't use a threaded collar, but that's Nilfisk for you!

    Thank you so much for this video. My C120. 7 wouldn't start up when I pull the trigger. I got into the mashine and simply took out the start/stop valve and then put it all back together again. I didnt replace anything at all. Now my Nilfisk works just like new. It was a bit dificult to understand all you said. I'm danish so I understood about half of what you said. It sound like you're norwegian but I'm not sure. Anyways thanks for the video.
