Love this game so much!!
Just some tips. Air combos are faster. Dont spam guard, only guard when they seem like they're going to attack, if you spam guard you can get stuck in the ending animation and be hit. Even though roxas has no movement, you can use his Jump to dodge. You still did good, i just wanted to give some tips for future runs, especially if you play on crit later.

I hate that boss with all my might. I dread the fact of having to face against him again. (In 1.5 remix the ps4 version since i already did the ps3 version) One of the hardest biss fights to beat imo.
Riku was such a freaking tank in this game he would decimate the strongest enemies with ease

When ever I play or see this game I just wish it got a proper remake removing the cards gimick and making it play like kh1 or2 like all the assets are practically there between this game and kh2 to build it in there engine. Like they all have shiloutes and data battles in kh2.
Removing entire game mechanics would make it more than just a remake. It was already a large jump bringing the game from 2D pixel art to full 3D. Square enix made re:com because of how important Chain of Memories is to the story, and it wouldn't be right for it to be stuck on the GBA. You should be thankful that they didn't give it the 358/2 and re:coded treatment😂
@ng6635 id rather they remade either of those better games and just had com be a movie. The gba version is strictly better excluding the cutscenes but gba 3lane beat em up is way better then the mess that's recom

Kind of, it's all a matter of building your deck wisely and breaking his combos with zero value cards, it's more beneficial having more cards than health. As you can run out of card combinations that do high damage

Guard, dodge roll, hi jump and glide (and i think aeroga works on the orbs) make this fight so much easier.
With second chance, healing to full is unnecessary. 2 HP is full HP in the sense of design.
Not every attack is a combo or does the same hp damage though really he should be using aero though
I did but at some point at this point I was fully panicking. I decided to tank his attacks. Sephiroth is no joke. lol
