I think she looks beautiful! Thought I was gonna skip her at first when I saw the very first art because I didn't love her and thought she just looked okay, but now that I've seen her in game I've totally changed my mind!! She looks, beautiful, elegant, fun and badass and I cannot wait to pull her!

All of aethetics fit the genshin universe till we got a guy wearing modern day streetwear, a dj skater girl in jean shorts and now a cowboy who rides a gigantic revolver

if you notice this problem mainly applies to genshin, every single update. weebs have nothing better to do

Chasca is so gorgeous and I’m looking forward to get her. I personally don’t understand why people don’t like her appearance. She is so beautiful and just look at her pretty face, not to mention her gorgeous body. And her voice is out of this world ❤

I think many people are just going along with the hate train started by others. If they had seen chasca before they saw the hate, they probably wouldn't have minded her design, but they're conformists.

i think people are overreacting, from what i gathered with her tribe, it has a wild west aesthetic to it so she in a way couldn't be any more accurate as most wild west media has native americans in them, not to mention that natlan seem to focus on indigenous cultures outside of north america more with the art style and all the graffiti, and let's not forget that she was raised by saurians and is a peacekeeper for natan, and sometimes cultures evolve overtime and i don't think the way someone is dressed effects traditions

personally most the character designs for natlan are ugly they look like a gradient mess of color

I don't hate her, but her design is probably the weirdest one till now. Her personality, in the story she acts wild (?), a bit angry sometimes and all that. But then her character has these weirdly eye catching lips with some weird smile. Her elf ears or whatever, knowing many other elf characters, if chasca is one too, she doesn't fit in with the elf type waifu The whole of natlan itself, she's from tribe, why the hell do these tribes have some of the weirdest ways of clothing. You can say it's cultural thing? Or maybe just her own personal preferences in fashion? But its still weird and doesn't feel right with someone who was raised by some dinosaur. Her face. It's supposed to look nice and all but something just feels wrong as if genhsin changed their character designers with this one. Or maybe its just me, moving from Fontaine(had some of the best character designs) to this weird tribe region with weird characters is the problem? Or maybe seeing too many good designs in other games(especially wuwa's characters since they are more realistic (?)) makes seeing chasca as a letdown character. She looked pretty good in natlan trailer but idk why her game model in story line looks just ----- Whatever, if she's meta or fun to play then people will pull her, atleast if some other good character isn't next like with Emilie. Didn't hate her. If you dont like her, just don't open the banner page, skip the story, dont co op with her. Just gotta endure, she'll be there for like 20 days so.

I'll be honest, I've never understood the distaste for her. She seems cool!

The problem is the BLINDING contrast between her skin and outfit, and the lack thereof between the red, blue and black in the ladder. If they changed saturations of the Blue and red around a bit, and made the black lighter, like a dark brown instead, her design would be 1000000000x more comprehensible and easier on the eye. For a company who’s known for their phenomenal character designs, a fumble like this is honestly so embarassing, I have no idea how this was even acceptable.

People are overreacting. She does not represent any culture. Yes they took inspiration from The real world but it's not supposed to be the real world, and people keep forgetting this. After all look at all the other nations, there's no real representation in there the other nations so why would anyone think that they randomly change it for the newest Nation.
