    I understand that Alberta has a "snow festival" from January 1st through December 31st each year.

    I find traffic lights confusing.. or barely any. In US, the lights are wider, it hangs and spreads out to that whole pole.

      They are right in front of you. How can you miss it? In the USA many are located at the side of the roads and tough to see.

      Houses sell quickly. Also this area is Quarry Park. Remington development sells the new condos and homes that's why there is no sign etc Not many sell their current homes here.

    Coming from Ontario and having only been in Alberta for the Winter/Spring, it's interesting to see this because it's soo different than Autumn in Ontario.

      Yellow leaves fall off fast in southern Alberta. The larch trees in the mountains last a little longer.

    I heard that Calgary is the fourth largest city in Canada, but from your video I didn’t get that “fourth largest city” vibe. I was imagining the Toronto-ish feeling in downtown Calgary, but the city actually a bit too quiet to me. After all, Calgary is still a great place to live :) thx for sharing your city to us~

      This was filmed Sunday afternoon. Not many people live downtown. It's where people work. Downtown is packed during weekdays. Most people live in houses not condos.

      Scotsman's Hill east above the saddledome. 25 Ave and Spiller Rd SE and just drive up the hill to your left.

      @@drivecalgary6095 ROM, Wonderland, Beaches, MLS, Niagara falls, CN tower, Ripleys aquarium, Concerts, NYC and Chicago are 7 hours drive. Torontos metro area is roughly 7 times bigger than Calgary. Calgary is not a big city. Its a medium size city with a medium size city feel to it.

      @@dmarshall1870 there is no beach. It's a lake. It's not Dan Diego/ Miami. Niagara is out of town and so are the American cities. They are not part of Toronto.. You can do those things in Calgary lol. I can say I can go to Vancouver, LA Las Vegas within 2 hours. Hawaii in 6 hours. Asia in 10 hours. We have the mountains here. Kananaskis, Alberta and BC Rockies. I can go hiking real mountains in 30 minutes. I can snowboard the 7 or so big resorts in Canada within 2 hours drive. Niagara does not even compare to the Canadian Rockies and the other mountains next to them. Great driving roads. Do you have roads like the Icefields Parkway and Kananaskis Highway 40 in Ontario? No way in hell.

      Don`t compare Europe, it`s beyond comparison. Calgary isn`t so bad, bud Edmonton looks like a post apocalyptical city with zombies walking in downtown (dozens of homelesses, addicts or crazy people). Edmonton is very disgusting. European cities are more beautiful.
