My Mother worked at the J. J. Newberry's in Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream' N.Y. . She was the manager of the Men And Boys department. Once a week she'd buy $2.00 of gasoline for her car 25¢ per gallon = 8 gallons of gas. I still have her Employee name tag she used.

We will have virtual Stake Conference this coming Sunday. I’m athletic and I’m a Marine. I wear a Garmin Fenix (rechargeable) on my left. It’s the mainstay because I want to keep track of my steps, heart rate, etc.). On my right I wear a solar G-Shock Mudmaster. It is huge and looks tactical. It is shock resistant so I can take it anywhere. During formal occasions I wear a thin automatic classic Longines with black leather strap. I move the Garmin to my right. I have other watches but don’t get to use them.

I met this great man in Alaska. As a recent convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 1980

Had the opportunity of meeting him while in our he Army at Fort Richardson Alaska, as he was the Mission President at that time.

I can't tell you how many times I've been asked if I'm related to Doug Snarr or if I know Doug Snarr. Up to this point I've only known small bits and pieces of the advertising and billboard stories. I'm glad to have been able to discover and hear the whole story right from the source. It appears that Merland Edwin Snarr is my 2nd cousin twice removed. I'll now be able to share with more certainty that, yes, we're related and that Doug is my 3rd cousin once removed. Thanks again for your story and your testimony.
