LPG Gas Pump Gears ⚙️

These are 20 small transmission gears, that I had to manufacture for a LPG gas pump. 5 Sets of the gears were spares and the other were for their new pumps. Hope you Enjoy ! #gearcutting #manualmachining #bevelgear
Hardened Gears ⚙️

These gears are slightly different than the sample. The internal spline’s dimensions are smaller, the overall length is more and the don’t have the taper step. The sample is from an older model machine that they upgraded to with the new gears that I modified. Note: these Gears were Hard! (HRC= 50-55) #gearcutting#manualmachining

Tha original Splines were too small for the new Tractor🚜 . The owners also didn’t have time to wait for a new one, which would have taken 3 Weeks to arrive. I then suggested to modify the old shat which only took 2 days and were very satisfied with the time and product.🤌🏼

Sir,how do you know that you have enough force to hold different materials? What measuring instruments do you use?
In the 5 years that I’ve been doing this, I’ve learned the feeling of when some materials are tight enough. Tools are the chuck spanner and my strength.
I see other companies use torque wrenches, but here in Windhoek we guess 😅
