One of the newer dweller mods that I think is actually pretty good is the Pale Hound. Worth a shot, if you've not tried it already.

I tried everything to make my machine render 256 chunks but it made it clear to me that it is not going to accept such high expectations, so I settled on 128. Now I'm fighting with bliss shaders to make light look good as default settings make areas which are not under shadows of clouds look overexposed. Another problem I have is that light does not work the same way in DH chunks as in Vanilla ones. This borderline is visible and I constantly notice it. I am playing on Forge 1.20.1 and the last version of Oculus (Iris port) is 1.7.0 which still has some bugs (example: whole lines of DH chunks disappear when moving in creative or with elytra). As soon as I will manage to solve these issues I will invite my friend to hopefully get the best experience this game can possibly provide (hopefully). Other mods in the pack and a set of textures are going with no trouble

It runs better with Bliss. Complementary shaders are heavy for some reason. They were much lighter before while looking almost the same.
