Іt ⅼоо𝗄ѕ ⅼі𝗄е ѕhіt. Basically it layered two videos with a mask and the video below has the shadow of the bumper plates, so the spot goes darker. Even a static image would be simpler than this.

I did exactly what you sad but the speed of the moving mouth is way too fast and I don't know how to slow it down. Do you know what I may be doing wrong?

I'd do it without masking: duplicated clips, the upper one trimmed to half, the bottom one with reversed playback.
