I wonder if we'll get the full car customisation experience from the 16th (or if it will be limited initially). Also although being able to select all the possible options is nice, I wonder how many people will go for less than the best options. I mean ETS2 for example lets you buy a truck and then upgrade to a better engine later. Is that something that people do with cars in the real world? Could be I guess.

Great video! I do find all the GT3s in iracing to be extremely similar pace wise. It’s always a surprise to me that it’s the most popular class in iracing, I find GTEs or LMP3/2 much more fun.

You still using the csl dd 8nm ? how does it feel in this LMU sim ?

The best thing about Raceroom, for me, is that there is no night, no rain, no dynamic weather. And no, I'm not crazy, the amount of complex variables that modern simulators introduce affects the physics and makes them very inconsistent, this doesn't happen in Raceroom.

Had the game since launch but not pulled the trigger on any DLC until the GT3's were released. Just been looking at people such as yourself for reasons too get it so i will now get the GT3 pack and maybe the other DLC. Nice look over all the cars in the pack my friend. Looks like you are fighting the wheel with your DD motor. I have a 20nm DD so will look fwd to some of that ABS too. Well done, nice and calm demeanour you have going fwd.

I have a feeling they will implement day/night and weather changes soon and it would be great. I preffer the FFB more than automobilista 2. The anti aliasing is also better implemented. In Ams2 to have a non distracting experiencie I have to set a high supersample setting. My 3060 ti struggles with this

I had been considering LMU as I’ve never really clicked with AMS2. I’m really surprised by 1.6, it’s the best I’ve ever felt AMS2 although it’s a bit inconsistent across the content.

Bought it during the Steam Sale, not had a chance to play it yet, still need to config it to work with my cheap Logi G29, but looking forward to see how it compares to ACC. The latest announcements regarding LFM integration sounds exciting, will be nice to have a Sim where I can actually compete when I want to.

No sim comes close to Raceroom in terms of physics and FFB. It's been my favourite sim since the graphical update and there's more goodness to come!

I got this when it came, then stopped playing it for years until the last update before this, this game is the Bollox now, i forgot about the in game car options with the gear shifts, the Jolt you get from changing gear is so immersive🏆

this game already feels amazing to drive since last tires and physics updates ffb is much better than in iR and ACC, driving feels very natural - driving wise it's best sim on the market imo and pricing is fair too - u can get literally whole released content for 75 euro atm (normally it's around 100 which is also good price for the amount of tracks and cars u get) with recently announced multiplayer improvements the future seems bright and DX12 is also being worked on (possibly end of 2025) which will open another unlimited possibilities in the future, since now game is still on DX9 which blocks some things like better VR optimisation with OpenXR or night since game has only 1 light source so the lights beside sun basically doesn't work hopefully the scaleform replacement also will happen in 2025 to get proper dashboards to all the cars since atm they can't do new ones so they keep copy-pasting what they have and even with all these downsides that wait for improvement it still is best sim imo since the most important part - the driving is amazing I'm not driving vs AI but I know that the things u have seen on this layout can happen but if u will report it then it should be fixed since they push AI updates basically every few weeks on some combos like new Zandvoort AI works amazing but some older tracks has issues with it from what I've seen on the chats

The tyres on these had an early version of the tyres in 1.6. The tyres in 1.6 have been updated even further then these.

Hiya, As someone that has done quite a lot of Karting (100cc, 2.stroke) when I was a bit younger. And a fair bit of sim Karting in my later years, I'd just like to offer you a small tip. There's a well known saying in racing about cornering. 'It's better to be slow in, fast out. Than fast in, slow out'. From what I can see, you are often going too quick into a corner and then scrubbing off a lot of speed. The rpm drop down quite a lot and the kart bogs down. It also means that you aren't rotating the kart early enough in the corner and as a result, you are then late getting back on the throttle. You should be able to start getting on the throttle at the apex of the corner. From what I can see it appears that by the time you start to get on the loud pedal, you are at the end of the corner. By then, you should be flat on the throttle, not just starting to apply it. Please don't be offended by what I'm saying. It's just an observation. Give it a try and see. Brake a bit earlier into the corner. By the time you turn in, you should be practically off the brake. Maybe just trailing it by the tiniest amount to stop understeer and help to rotate the kart. But most importantly, 'slow in, fast out'. So enter the corner a bit slower than you are at the moment. That way, you should have the kart completely rotated before the apex and as you clip the apex you can then start to accelerate. By the time you have exited the last part of the corner you should be 100% on the throttle. Give it a go and let me know how you get on. Keep up the good work!!!!
