The Lion King is undoubtedly one of my favorite childhood films and I remember my parents buying me the CD soundtrack. It blew me away as a child and as an adult I feel emotional every time I hear it because it takes me back to that time and how the movie made me feel. I don’t think Disney can top this level of mastery and craft. It is a masterpiece. It is now my son’s favorite film as well. The flutes in particular in this piece are so heart wrenching and visceral that it brings a tear to my eye always. Great job!
