Scenic street views. Where the roads may go.
Maine State House, Augusta, Maine
Downtown Augusta, Maine, is a historic and charming area along the banks of the **Kennebec River**. The centerpiece of the city is the **Maine State House**, a grand, domed building that has housed the state's legislature since 1832. Its stunning architecture and lush surrounding grounds are open to visitors year-round, offering a glimpse into Maine’s political history.
Not far from the State House is **Old Fort Western**, a National Historic Landmark. Built in 1754, it is the oldest surviving wooden fort in the United States. The fort has been preserved as a museum, allowing visitors to explore colonial-era military life and the early history of Augusta.

I would love to have a small travel trailer there.
Is that electrical lines crossing the view?
Maybe. Or telephone line. It’s going to Yosemite Lodge behind the camera
what year was this?
It was taken in 2022
I have lived in the Cheyenne Wyoming area all my life. The downtown area of Cheyenne Wyoming they have a few nice eating places, few antique stores, the railroad information building which is nice, a few banks, libary, odds and end stores, Capital Building, museum, city, state and federal building and few bars. That is about it. If you like a quite down town, then Cheyenne is the place.
Thanks for the tips!
Trump 2024. Make Hawaii great again 🌸🌈🌴😊
Lol There's so much emotion in the zoom in! I Gotta agree though!
Lol. We tried to find a ranger to ask questions.
That has got to be the worst example of a wheelchair ramp. So much wood and material wasted on a ramp that zig zags several times when a gradual inclined ramp built in a straight line would have been less expensive in material, time and money. Obviously a government approved design.
I’m not even sure if the ramp is ever useful. The dirt path before that is not wheelchair friendly, with water puddles after the rain
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍2
Thanks for watching
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for visiting!!
As kids in the late 1940's, we lived less than a mile from HARVARD COLLEGE and would play football in HARVARD yard. All of CAMBRIDGE was our playground and the CHARLES river was our beach , even though they said it was polluted, we still swam in it.
That’s amazing. It’s like 70 years ago. Lots have changed then. Thanks for sharing.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍2
Thanks for visiting

Nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍4
Thank you too
We plan to go on July but are afraid of the crowd
Yeah, the park is popular for good reasons. I went there at 7-ish in the morning. If you can't get into the park before 10, you will have a hard time.
Wrong one, Fiona? 😂
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing. 👍7
Thanks for watching.
Restore it to it's natural beauty. It belongs to the natives. Shame!!!!!
It’s a shame for what we did to Lakota people in the Black Hills. This area is sacred to them.
WOW! Mesmiring! Stunning
Desecrated
Well I was over here thinking man Americans were always trying to carve into the mountains...
Yes we have respect for our founding fathers because everyone got us this far and by the same token when you realize how that Marxism versus The rapture problem to induce slavery was you are definitely mad about that because it's totally illegal and then they try to convince you it's your fault and you're like it doesn't matter whose fault it is we have to resolve the case
World greatest graffiti! Never got permission from the land owners. SAD!
While I acknowledged that this monument is a big FU to native Americans in the area, the word "graffiti" undersells the amount of planning & effort into this monument.
Great Monument in USA! 😊
Is that someone’s farm goat?
Lol, no. It's probably a wild big horn sheep but marked for tracking.
Thanks for sharing. Looks like a fun drive.
It was! Fall foliage was beautiful in New England
Beautiful place. Great video. Thanks for sharing. 👍15
Thanks for visiting

Look around you, There are big mountains, There are big meadows, There are so many forests, Trees grow tall and strong and There are big waterfalls. It's a lovely sunny day outside, The sky is clear and I love sunny days because There isn't a cloud in the sky. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this, This video is amazing because I feel like I'm in this place. Greetings from Lima, Peru. 🇵🇪🦙🇺🇸🗽🌲🏞️🙂👍

Shithole of the world
beautiful video. Thank you for sharing. 👍4
Many thanks!
Those bones look pretty busted up like they were thrown and buried in mud. What happened?
Climate change
It was a deep muddy water hole millions years ago. Over thousands of years, tens of mammoths accidentally stepped into the hole and died and get buried in there. They recently (maybe in 1970s) discovered this hole with mammoth bones and build this Mammoth research center.
Custer SHOULDN'T have any thing or park named after what he did but the NATIVE AMERICAN got screwed .Government took their land imprisoned them killed there family make me ashamed of what white people have done to them.
Nice video. Thank you for sharing. 👍5
I’ve been there it’s nice also I see the homeless are still outside

Nice video. Thank you for sharing. 👍3

Boom
I love Custer State Park, it my Favorite, even though I've only been once
Same. I love it. I think it should be a National Park
On the other hand, since it’s not a National Park, Custer SP is under the radar for many and, therefore, less crowded
Promo'SM 🤷
Imagine finding this centuries later😂
Probably bewildered
Nice one. 👍
Thanks for the visit
