Capilano University Blues Athletics has a long and rich history of successful seasons. The university has taken home many provincial and national titles, Coach of the Year, Athlete of the Year, CCAA All-Canadian distinctions and Aggregate championships since 1974.
We are proud of this history and were given the honour of being awarded with the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Soccer Supremacy Award which is presented to the most successful men's and women's soccer program within the CCAA between 1974-1999. Many fine athletes have graced the athletic halls of Capilano University and have gone on to great heights in their athletic, professional and social endeavors. It is with great pride that we display our championship achievements and the coaches who have guided the teams to numerous winning seasons.

Both teams play so aggressive. Not a single playmaker. These teams need to hold possesion longer and work with their teammates to use open space. Every other ball touch is a wild kick across the field.

My last 2 years working at CapU was by far the worst thing I have ever endured that severely affected my mental health. It is an employer's responsibility to act if an employee is showing signs of mental health distress. CapU was sorely lacking in education for senior staff on how to manage mental health issues in the workplace. I sincerely hope that this is improving at CapU as I would not wish my experience on my worst enemy.
