Energy consumption in the BMW iX3 under near optimal conditions (20 inch wheels)

Mostly highway driving (100 km/h / 60 mph) at 22 degrees celcius (72 fahrenheit). The iX3 does a really good job, likely reflecting the longstanding experience of BMW with EV batteries.

"bypassed me"? 😂 😂
@@PanicX72 yep, not a native speaker. How’s your Dutch?
Autopilot means you not accelerate it? Is it on cruise? How is it working?
@@nowshairmohammadmadarbok-ib9hb it’s a combination of lane centering assistant and adaptive cruise control
Thank you. Is 2021 model same?
@@JKCover yeah in terms of driver assistant all model years are equal
Hello very Nice you Walk in eco pro mode? How many klm you do? Thanks
@@AlexandreSantos-wk4yt yeah I nearly always drive in eco pro mode. Sometimes for fun Iput it on sport mode, for a bout of more dynamic driving. I drive approximately 15K km per year. So far really happy with it.
@@IX3adventures Very good 😃 but I mean how many klm with one charge?? 👍
Thanks
Welcome!
Thanks
Is it an m sport or m sport pro?
It’s the pro edition. Every country by the way has its own labels for the tiers. Here in the Netherlands it’s Executive vs High Executive. The difference is not in the drivetrain/efficiency. Instead, the pro/high executive provides some luxury options, such as better speakers (Harman-Kardon), sturdy real leather seats, and head up display. But for energy consumption it doesn’t matter.
Thank you for your videos. I'm about to purchase the vehicle, but my only concern is the range from 100% to 10% that can be achieved on the highway at 130 km/h. Using ABRP (app), I can't seem to get beyond 240/250 km (with an outside temperature of around 20 degrees Celsius). You know the vehicle better than I do, what do you think?
@@andreag9550 Thanks for your comment. At 130 km/h I have an energy consumption of about 20-21 kwh/100 km (on 20 inch wheels and clear weather around 20 degrees C, with consciencious driving). So that’s roughly a 20% increase over the 16-17 kwh/100 km that I get at 100 km/h. Thus I’d estimate your 100-10% range at 130 km/h to be at least 300km, probably around 320-330 km. Either way, I’ll make a video this weekend where I show the real time and average consumption at 130 km/h.
