Where did you buy the new exhaust? Straight from manufacturer or a retailer?
I bought the exhaust off of eBay from a retailer. You CAN buy a name brand exhaust from a manufacturer, you'll just end up paying a lot more. If you notice on eBay when you search for a exhaust on a ninja 650, they all end up looking very similar to each other. The only difference really being the muffler style.
