A quick unboxing/ mini review of the Draper Expert 1050W SDS MAX BREAKER. Purchased from Toolstation for £110. Couldn't find a video on this model so i thought it would be helpful for me to make one.

Can it be used as an ordinary drill or it’s a breaker only? Thanks

I just brought one and it's a beautiful machine for the money . Keep your bits sharp and there really good . Broke up some really hard premix base for fitting a new soil pipe . Thought it wouldn't do the job but brought it anyway as I didn't want to lug a big breaker around . Paid £120 at Toolstation .

@@ajwalou-nack2343 thanks for the reply I'm thinking of digging out the trench for foundation for an extension I'm about to do instead of paying someone to do it. Definitely going to buy this tool.

I brought one of these breakers several months ago (summer 2020) for £100 ish it’s worth every penny. Literally it has smashed everything I’ve put in front of it and it’s light which is good when u are using it for a few hours. Everyone at work is actually quite impressed with it except for one of the bosses who is a dickhead, he looks down his nose at it because it’s a cheap brand. I don’t know whether the 25J is accurate seen as the makita/Bosch equivalent claim to be about 18J but this definitely keeps up with them.... 2bh it’s about £400 cheaper than them and they won’t give u £400 extra performance. 3 negatives, cable could be longer, not the end of the world. The trigger handle area could be more comfortable and it’s loud! U want ear protection.

Draper tools are quite underrated in the UK. They aren't prestigious tools, but for occasional use I do think they are quality.

Its small compared to the 40J ones for sure. But it can be used it more places such as vertical surfaces. The bigger ones are only really good for pointing down and not at odd angles. But i cant say how many joules it really gives out. Likely is a bit lower than the 25j rated amount.

I just bought it's little brother the Draper 20995 brilliant little tool for £42, 900 Watts and 4.0 joules, just punched it's way through an outside wall, and it's the old hard brick.
