First ride with my new Triumph Trident 660. My brother and my sister-in-law led the way with my brother riding 2 up with his daughter. We started in PA then crossed over to NJ then back to PA for the ride home. It was a perfect day to ride and we covered about 70 miles before my GoPro died. Sorry for all the crackling and popping noises. Need to figure out what is going on with my mic. 2022 Tri...

Hello on the "accessory" socket do you think we can directly connect a fog light kit? instead of connecting it to the battery, because we don't have any more + after contact!! this socket seems perfect (in view of the videos) on the other hand I have not yet looked for which fuse it depends on and its amperage?
@@krisss9566 Probably doesn’t supply enough power for fog lights but not 100% sure about that.
@@_Moto215 I just made this connection; it works perfectly.
@@krisss9566 What I didn’t realize is that connection is still providing 12V. I think the little black box included in the wiring in my video reduces that for my usb connection. So without that you’re probably good and it sounds like you got it working! 🍻
I got your same setup and just installed it. Aces! I was going to just use a positap but this was almost as easy thanks to the eBay link, and certainly "the right way".
That’s awesome! Glad to hear it. Just got back from a 2 hour ride using GPS and this continues to work perfectly. Cheers!
Why didn't you get the Triumph OEM USB adapter? Just curious.
Didn’t want to have to plug in under the seat. I could have just ran a cable to the bars but I couldn’t find a way to secure it neatly.
After market exhaust?
CS Racing.
Hey fella is that mount still on the bike? Im looking to fit this mount to my Street triple 765 and the handle bar set looks the same as your bikes.
It is. Still works pretty well.
Excellent I'll order one tomorrow on amazon uk for £18.99. And many thanks for the reply it's much appreciated.
I wish you had commentated on the ride. I've watched dozens of these videos now and it's really helpful when the rider is describing things and such
That’s some tame ass riding dude. This bike goes to 9.5k rpm and you’re puttering it around the choking point. Go down a gear.
Thanks man. I’m so glad you can read (As in the video title). That video was my first time ever on a bike. Who really is rocking 9.5k RPMs on their first ride? 🤡
Hi, I was looking for videos from others in the community about the motorcycle. I've had my new Trident with quickshifter for a week now. At the moment I have the problem that I can't switch to neutral, no matter from 2 to neutral or from 1 to neutral. In the workshop they told me that I should do the running-in phase and then it would be fine. Apart from that I can say that I'm pretty happy with the motorcycle.
Curious if the quickshifter has gotten any better for you. I feel like mine has improved but I think it’s more of me learning the behavior that it works better in.
Thanks for linking to the eBay listing for that connector. Couldn’t find it anywhere.
ya it reminded us of that black shadow from Kirby taking control proof of entanglement: they’re the same areas in the 🍑🕳️ cheers #2Spirit
Bro this was pretty cool to see, you usually only ever see a vid of the sun and moon during the eclipse but never how it is on the ground.
you're fired
I intentionally didn’t want to damage the sensors in my camera.
@@_Moto215 its okay, HR accepted your application, and you start on Monday.

Its a great bike and you'll have lots of fun with use. Even for old gits it has the manners of an angel but the bite of a devil.....enjoy
Great video. Thanks for doing all the hard work! Glad you got it to work.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
I think it would charge at about 12W, with the proper usb cable (not the type A converted to C). With an old cable, it'll probably ~ at most ~ maintain it. 12W is respectable.
Have you fix the issue or noticed anything a difference over time?
How did you ship the tec fang to North America?
It was already on the bike when I bought it. It’s a 2022 and only had 250 miles on it but came with the exhaust already installed. I heard getting a tec exhaust is difficult here in the US. Might want to check out a CS Racing exhaust. I had one on my last bike and really liked it. That’s probably what I would get if this didn’t already have it.
Hey , great bike ! I have the same and freaking love it ! About the getting to neutral between the 1st and 2nd ,I read somewhere that you are not suppose to use the quick shifter from 1 to 2 , all good for anything else .
Happened twice to me. Each time i was trying to quickshift from 1 to 2 .I use manual clutch to 2nd gear and no problem at all. It's the way it's meant to be used, from second upwards, and downwards. Trident owner for a week as first bike btw. Enjoy this beautiful machine guys!!! Cheers from Italy
what do you think about trident 660 as first bike?
I think it’s a fantastic beginner bike. It has a fairly low seat height, it’s light, ABS, traction control and rain mode. It definitely has some power but the delivery of that power is nice and smooth. Once you start getting comfortable and riding becomes second nature to you then you can turn rain mode off and have a lot of fun with it.
when hiting 1 to 2.... hold the lever a lil longer so it goes into gear and dont fall back... some triiumphs have this issue. as well as kick it hard enough. dont baby it
You werent completely in second, you missed it.
Boot it harder
Throttle can move while shifting
its neither make sure your clutch has enough free play quickshifter or not if its to tight gears will have trouble catching
That's not an issue with the quickshifter. That's an issue with the gearbox in general, which can't be fixed. Just try shifting from 1st to 2nd a bit harder next time.
I've already seen what happens when you make a bad gear change. For a few seconds you release the accelerator. You still don't get used to it.
Ya pull up hard an fast and release quick. When just putting around don’t use it.
😎😎
Awesome video. Keep them coming. Planning on taking a trip from one coast to another. I'd need all the gear and accessories setup before that.
That’s awesome! I would love to do a coast to coast trip. Ride safe!
@@_Moto215 Once you finish routing cables, you'll upload a follow-up video, right?
@@antonkarpeyev6267 I will. I received the connector today but waiting for the USB cable which I think is coming from Italy. Might be a week or two before I get it but I will definitely record and post once done.

Beautiful weather yesterday! Is this in near new town, pa?
It is. Newtown is not far at all.
Only one stall? (I recognize so much of that ride...)
0:58 haha sounds like me on my recently purchased KLR 650. I am also new :D I want this bike too though, thanks for the video
@4:04 This was bugging up until now, wondering if you knew how to counter steer, cause it looked like you were turning the handle bars in the direction that you were trying to go. You obviously are not counter steering which is very essential for any rider to learn. About 7-8 MPH the physics on your bike change and greater forces of motion take over, that once you realize how your bike turns at higher speeds, will increase your skill level as a rider tremendously and make you an excellent and much safer motorcyclist. Knowing how counter steering works will save your life and make riding much safer and easier for you. ruclips.net/video/xNvdB6pMdx0/видео.html Push left, go left. Push right, go right. Practice this while going down a road at a modest speed and get a feel for it, then when you get good at it, you can do this as soon as you get out onto any transit road, outside of your drive way or parking space. ruclips.net/video/ljywO-B_yew/видео.html Watching the rest of your ride, that is definitely your first ride on any motorcycle. Definitely take you time learning and don't push yourself too much too quickly. Brings back memories of myself learning to ride and I already knew the science behind it, from motorcycle magazine subscriptions for two years. And still nearly killed myself, because I didn't know how to break properly inside a turn. And never be afraid to ask questions from well experienced riders that actually know what they are talking about. Godspeed!
OP is one of the "Some People" that Randy of NotARubicon warned us about.
I like the bike....please make a video on exhaust sound
Thanks for sharing these videos!
NICE VIDEO! KEEP UP THE GOOD CONTENT!
Nice video and it is very brave of you to post your first ride 👍 I dont know this from personal experience, but I know several people have complained that the Vulcan S is VERY twitchy on the throttle in 1st and 2nd gear. They made some electronic box that fixes it, and I think it is both plug and play and rather inexpensive. Otherwise you might want to find some good straights where you can put it in higher gears, it may be more comfortable while you are getting used to shifting 🤔 Congratulations on the bike, I hope to own a Vulcan S someday aswell!
Looks like your in the movie "Home Alone" lol. Nice Neighborhood👍
Haha. You're right. There are a few brick houses that remind me of the Home Alone house but that Home Alone house was much bigger lol.
where did you get your engine guard?
They were on it when I bought it. They’re puig though. Thanks for watching.
What exhaust is this?
CS racing. It was on it when I bought it but I like how it sounds and looks.
This video is making me cold. I do miss some things about jersey but not the winters
lol. Fortunately things are finally starting to warm up here in PA. The cold winters definitely make you appreciate the warmer weather once you get it :)
Does it go over 30mph?
Lol. It does now 😂. After a few months of riding and completing the MSF course I feel like I’m in control of the bike. In this video which was my first time ever riding a bike 30 felt like 65.
welcome to lovely vulcan s family
Thank you! Just got back from a really nice 1 hour ride. What is your screen name? I can read Korean so I understand Do To but not the Chinese character.
@@_Moto215 I am so happy as a Korean to be able to read Hangle and thank you for not being able to read Chinese. Chinese means a villager and you can read Lee in Korean. It means acorn in English. Thank you again.
Where do you live where nobody has a fence and huge yards?! 👍
Lol. Southeastern PA in a Philly suburb.
Good video, good commentary. Hopefully, that will be me soon. I take my MSF course in a couple weeks. Looking at either the Vulcan S or Rebel 500 for a first bike. I've heard/read the throttle on the Vulcan S can be a bit "twitchy". As a new rider, what do you think?
Thanks! I was also between the Rebel 500 and the Vulcan. The first few times I rode the throttle was very twitchy. However, I think that has more to do with being a new rider and the Vulcan May be a little less forgiving there than other bikes. But the more I ride the less of an issue it seems to be because you get used to releasing the clutch and rolling on the throttle while accelerating then shifting into second. Most of the twitchiness is in first and when you get more experience you stay in first a lot less time. Hope that makes sense.
@@_Moto215 Yeah, that makes sense. Thanks!
@@robertf3397 Good luck on the MSF. I did it about 2 weeks ago and i was definitely confidence inspiring.
Picking up my 2023 today !!
Did you get it? How do you like it?
I love mine definitely a fun bike
You are a good rider, keep on brotha 💯
Nice video and commentary on your ride. You picked a great motorcycle to learn on. The Kawasaki Vulcan S is a bike I’m even considering for a 2nd bike. Lightweight, comfortable and good safety features and like ABS and best of all affordable. Just keep practicing like you are on this ride and the confidence will come in time. You are wise to be wary of intersections and other hazards like deer and kids running out in front of you. Practicing emergency stops and evasive maneuvers in a parking lot is very important. Take care and ride safe!
I'm looking forward to the weather being nicer and getting out there more! I'm curious what your first bike was. I was really between a Rebel 500 and the Vulcan S and this bike just felt good. Thanks for watching and ride safe!
@@_Moto215 I rode smaller dirt bikes as a kid but my first street bike was a Honda CB350 way back in the 80’s. When I started riding on the street again about 12 years ago I bought a Honda Rebel 250 used to do what you’re doing now. But I outgrew that pretty quickly and bought a 2005 Suzuki C50T Boulevard. I kept that motorcycle over 8 years and traded it in for a new Harley-Davidson Heritage Classic in 2O21. It’s best to upgrade in size and weight gradually as your skills, experience and confidence increases. This Heritage is all I need for cruising or touring. I’m ready for Spring too. Ride safe!
