How did you know to dock next to that fuel boat? Was there anyone you called in advance to show you a spot? I am always lost in situations like that. I don't know what to do. We enter the port, then I cruise around looking for someone to tell me what to do but usually no luck. It's not a marina so there is no one answering on ch 16 and if I just find a spot and dock stern-to, then I don't know if I am actually occupying the space of someone who just left for a day sailing. Any tips you can share with me please? :)

We leave Greece after 85 days in the Schengen region. We head out of Kalimnos Greece, hoist the Turkish and Q Flag, then enter Turkish water, we hit land in Gulluk with what I would say was the easiest ever check-in to a country, docking up with a Fuel "bunker" boat, so relaxed! Check-in, was, hand over our documents to our agent, and shout over to the customs officer "nothing to declare", that was it!, we then head out of town across the water to what we called our "private beach", for a few days and had a nice day out walking the old Iasos castle ruins. Finally we head in to Bodrum to get ourselves a long awaited paddle board! :) Hope you enjoy the video!

In this video we head out from the Cycladic island of Amorgos and sail east to the peaceful, isolated and uninhabited island of Levitha, here we carry out our first stern-too anchoring with the use of our dinghy, as the area is too deep to just swing free, after a night watching the starts and viewing the Milky Way(footage lost) , we then head on over to Kalymnos, the "sponge-divers" island in the Dodecanese island chain, between the island of Leros and Kos and one of the most wealthy greek islands overall.

Hello Hello, In this video we leave the island of Syfnos after spending two nights there and head to Ios to hide from the incoming Meltemi, we escape lightly from Ios port as the fast ferry comes in a rocks the entire harbour, with some experienced sailers even calling the port police on the ferry!. Hello Guys!! We continue our work preparing the boat for splash. We wire brush the keel, paint it, wire brush the propeller shaft then we get a special delivery from UPS. After our second group of viewing sailboats in the last video, we travel from Lefkada all the way to Lavrion on the other side of Athens (the other side of Greece!!) to put a boat out of our mind, that was a long day, and it certainly did put it out of our minds, it was a no. So after this disappointment, we have one boat left on our list before we give up. Over the next few days we had some fun at the Kathisma Beach, the island Koukoumitsa in Vonitsa. We have our first taste of Ouzo and visit the Nidri Waterfall with its cats. Finally we went to look at a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49 Performance in Cleopatra Marina. Aw Happy birthday to Leo🎈my daughter will be 5 soon😊. Would be nice to see a little video about you all, a bit of background, where you’re from, jobs, what ur plans are, what you did with ur house. Dacron sails indeed last much longer than laminated ones. Unfortunately, they lose their proper profile much quicker than laminated ones which makes them far less efficient. The older a dacron sail is, the more it just makes you heel over instead of move forward. A laminated sail will keep its profile until it falls apart. A 16 year old dacron sail may look good when lying on deck. However, the profile is definitely gone. Surely, cacron sails are a good choice for cruising when speed is not much of a factor. Just know what you compare them to.
