I have a question if you develop this software. I got a second handed razer wolverine pro 2 without tongle. Is there a way to use an esp32 to conect this razer controller to a ps4? I doesnt matter if its wired or wireless. I just wanna make the controler works on ps4 (it works wired with ps3/pc/ps5)
Hello im not the developer. I think ur controller is not supported. You may want to reach him on github he have the full documentation there. You may request an update to him to add that controller.

Make sure you secure the nickel strips dont leave them dangling. They can easily cause damage when shorted. Also when choosing a battery make sure its the high discharge one. Low discharge battery will heat up more easily.

In my Boards manager, it says I have Arduino ESP32 Boards by arduino 2.0.13 installed, and esp32 by Espressif systems 2.0.11 Installed. I copied the link that you showed in notepad, but although esp32_bluepad32 shows up in the Boards Manager, I can't Install it, and it gives this error "Failed to install platform: 'esp32-bluepad32:esp32:3.10.2'. Error: 9 FAILED_PRECONDITION: Platform 'esp32-bluepad32:esp32@3.10.2' not found: getting tool dependencies for platform esp32-bluepad32:esp32@3.10.2: tool version v0.12.0-esp32-20230419 not found" Please let me know what I should try, thanks!
I only tried this on windows havent tried on mac or linux yet. Maybe try to do a clean reinstall of the software and remove previously installed libraries.
I am on windows 11. I just removed all of my software and libraries and re downloaded and installed the Arduino IDE and tried again, and I'm still getting the same error. let me know if you have any more ideas, thanks for the help @@tinkerperks
@@tinkerperks Just tried this on mac and windows, both returning the same error message as above.
Install the 3.8.3 version of bluepad32
Do not solder the 18650 battery, the heat from the soldering iron will damage the battery. In order to solder the cable to the 18650 battery, you first need to use a spot welding machine to connect the nickel strip to the battery and solder the cable to the lead.

Its funny. i have build literally hundreds of battery packs never experienced what u are referring to. Again if you have no idea what u are dealing with. Just dont do it! No one will ever force you to do it.
You realize that the entire cell is the negative terminal, except for the button on the top that is the positive terminal? If solder goes down those holes on the top that space the positive terminal from the negative terminal, you will short out the cell, and you almost did that in this video.
Watch my videos more so you have an idea on to build battery packs. I wont charge you for the knowledge you earned. 😚
Nope dont do this ive built packs dont use an iron ever! A spot welder is the only way if you heat your cell it could exploed ive seen it happen

I agree especially the negative terminal. Battery can be damaged if not done correctly. Spot welding still the best option

I tried to replicate your issue. not occurring on my end. checked if there is an update made on the library, none. you probably not installed the stock esp32 board on the arduino library. pls try that.
