Thanks! Only things I’ve done to it is redirect the winch to the front, and I’ve replaced the wheels with some deep dish beadlocks with added weight and LouiseRC Rowdy tires. It’s very good out the box, but now it’s even better. And the wider stance suits it 😄

Haven’t had problems with it slipping out, but I have issues with engaging into 4wd after using DIG. I fried two servos so far even thought I adjusted the servo very thoroughly. I believe the mechanism doesn’t work smoothly enough and/or the servo is under-dimensioned. I haven’t had time to take the gearbox apart to examine it to see if it’s binding more than it should and if something can be done.

Thanks for your reply. I have seen a couple of videos explaining how to set end points on the non pro one but not done it yet. Greased the shaft for now to see if better

I’m not sure you can adjust the endpoints electronically - I believe it’s just manual adjustment/positioning of the servo arm.

That’s right. I put some deep dish rims and added weight to them, and LouiseRC Rowdy tires. It’s wider and has an even lower center of gravity now. It performs great. I find the winch more useful in front so I rewired it. I didn’t move the winch servo, just the wire.

@4X4RCACTION i put 17 1/2 wight oil in the shocks and 1/4 spacer's under the body cage on the body. Between the body and the connecting portion, it give it a quarter it body body lift.,

I bought this one used and previous owner replaced the 110mm high trail shocks with the normal 90mm Traxxas shocks. I really like the look with this ride high and with 115mm tires and negative offset rims there’s only a little fender rub but nothing critical. For me it’s perfect 😊

I haven’t done anything to protect it yet. What I’ve put it through so far hasn’t given me any issues, but it’s probably just luck, and a box of a kind as on the TRX4 is probably recommendable.
