electric arc scatters on standard plug and keeps it from developing a hot spot on the electrode. it will eat itself to death
Been doing this for 15 years. Never a problem.
It works but the electrode will burn down much faster making this impractical for everyday driving

They are doing it, but with more than one ground to minimize the excessive wear of the electrode caused by a single ground
Looks smaller it’s really more concentrated huh? Now I have to search for the test results of side gapping

It's mean... Turn a normal spark to side gapping spark? after being cut.. the clearance space needs to be close with the appropriate distance right? Cold plug definitely suitable maybe .
