Have you tried looking up a walkthrough that's typed out? Maybe there is something you have to do before that? AppUnwrapper.com has a good walkthrough

Don't worry. There are times I needed to look up how to do something in this game. Sometimes it's so obvious it hurts. :)

Yes. I believe only 2 people at a time can play. There are only 2 characters in the game.
