I did not want this to get lost in Emilia Clark's Instagram feed.
Sayde Price - Untitled No. 3 (lyrics)

This artist disappeared. I had bought this track off of Bandcamp, but it's no longer available for download. So the only thing I could think to do was screen record while the song was playing and rip the audio from that, so if the sound quality is a little off, I apologize. Also when I looked up the lyrics a lot of places said that the line is "Lord knows I never felt less alone." But I always ...

You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles through the desert repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves. Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine. Meanwhile the world goes on. Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain are moving across the landscapes, over the prairies and the deep trees, the mountains and the rivers. Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air, are heading home again. Whoever you are, no matter how lonely, the world offers itself to your imagination, calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting -over and over announcing your place in the family of things.

My long time favorite poem. Our tragedy is that the natural world is disappearing. We pagans and tree huggers have fewer and fewer retreats in the natural world and the weather is disrupted by wildfires, floods, disappearances of species

But that is not Mary Oliver-- its Helena Bonham Carter. But you obviously know that so apparently, I am missing something. We lost Mary Oliver the year before this video was made. May she rest in peace. And HBC is not a lesbian, though it is reported that she's had a few dalliances with women between her former husband and new boy toy.

I couldn't hear it either, but I found this on some website: I love sharing poems on my blog by published poets, most especially the ones that speak to my heart and soul (and body). The following is such a poem that forms part of William Seighart’s collection The Poetry Pharmacy which I have shared from before. In his introduction to this poem by Mary Oliver which he prescribes as an antidote for self recrimination, Sieghart writes : ... So presumably HBC is saying self recrimination as well.

I am sitting here crying on my bed, I with severe depression and an incredible amount of pain as so many bad things are happening to me right now. But hearing her voice and listening to this amazing poem has helped me more than anything else in the last few weeks! And I know the chance of Helena reading this is very small, but nevertheless I just want to say thank you, you have helped me so much over the last years and brought me out of my deepest hole and for that I just wanted to say thank you, it's great that you exist, you are so incredibly great and inspiring and that has been my whole life! ❤️‍🩹
