How did you get to know where to eat/which restaurants to eat?
I googled for restaurants near where ever I was, looked at the reviews and would sometimes call them before going there. Also asked some of the locals for their recommendations :)

Canada is huge and diverse. It depends on the province. Both certain parts of Canada and UK are diverse and multicultural.

Hello, I don't clearly understand your question. However, I didn't have to be interviewed before getting into University of Birmingham Law school.
@@PorchElla mam i am international student from India. My agent ask me to pay fees of university before interview. So, I check that university of law take fees before the interview. Yes or No

Hey!! Yes I had to write 1 personal statement which was sent to sent to all the universities I applied to. I talk about the UCAS application process and the things needed in 13:52 and 16:23 of this video. Let me know if theres something else you specifically want me to speak about concerning personal statements or law related matters.
@@PorchElla Thank You for responding! I won't graduate from (undergrad) university until next the academic year 25-26. However, I'm learning about the UCAS application process early on. I was thinking of starting my personal statement very soon, so that when the time comes to apply I won't have to worry about that part. But, I do not know how wise it would be to start my personal statement so early. Do you have any recommendations? Also, I'm going to subscribe to your RUclips channel!

Nothing wrong with you drafting your personal statement early on and modifying it along the way until its time for you to make your application submission on or before the deadline for the time you want to go to law school. Hi, I was wondering if you were ever asked to provide your passport information when signing a contract for private student accommodations? As it’s sensitive information, I was wondering why a landlord would need it when signing your contract for a private student accommodation.
Hello, yes if I can recall correctly, they requested a copy of my ID, proof of address and emergency contact information etc. As an international student, I didn't have any UK ID, so I either sent my passport or my drivers licence, I can't remember which one. I am not 100% sure but I think they ask for these documents/information so they can draw up the lease agreement with the tenants full legal name. Remember this all ties in when an international student needs to open a bank account in UK as you will have to provide information such as proof of address and all (I made a video about opening a UK bank account as well). It's good for your name to match all your documents. Hope my comment helps you.

Hlo dear I'm from India and I just wanted to know about the exact thing regarding the international students..as I've heard so many rumours regarding the negative stuff.. hope you guide me in it.. Is university of law Birmingham provide work permit to students. ... And for how many hours students can work... And accor to ur pov is it expensive or student can manage.... ❤❤
Hello, thanks for your comment. If you are a student looking to live in a place that primarily caters to professionals (people with work/job), it may be difficult to find something like that as having a job will be a requirement. Like I explained in this video, most times, landlords of these places will require partial upfront payment of 6months or the full 1year rent from students before they are given a spot. But there is university and student housing available for all students. For more information about University of Birmingham guide for students working during their time as international students, please see the university link here for all detailed information such as how many hours of work per week is the max and all other information (intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/student/international/current/working-in-the-uk/working.aspx#:~:text=20%20hours%20per%20week%20during,at%20least%2016%20years%20old.) I encourage you to read the helpful information from there. In terms of expenses, it honestly depends on your budget as an individual, I think it depends on what you are looking for. There are affordable and also expensive things. Hope this helps.

Thank you for this video🙌🏽 Good to know since i’m starting UoB in September as as international student. Side Note: Did you change accommodations since you started school? And what was the process of finding accommodations as I am currently experiencing difficulties in finding one at a reasonable price. Any help will be appreciated 😊
You are most welcome. I am happy you liked today's video. Congrats on joining UoB 😆 It can be tasking looking for accommodation but it all depends on what you want for example student housing or private housing. They all have their advantages and disadvantages in terms of price, living area (if stores are near by, transportation or campus) etc. Those were some of the things I looked out for. I also went directly to different accommodation websites to search for their prices as sometimes third party websites may showcase it slightly expensive. There's a lot I have to say about finding a place to stay however, my detailed video on accommodations will have more information. I am yet to change places. Hopefully this helps you.

Girl, you ROCK! I was wondering if I can ask about your housing situation in Birmingham, I figured from your videos that you are probably not in student housing? If so, was the process to renting a *flat* difficult as an international student? Im hoping to start LLB at UofB this fall and as you can imagine im so so lost in this process haha. Would appreciate any input you can provide on this!! ❤❤❤

Yes I was of youtube for sometime because of my tedious exams but I am back now and finally getting around editing videos I had lined up over the previous months. OMG!!!! Congratulationssssssss on starting this fall!!! 🎉🎊 If you do not wish to stay on campus (university student housing), you can search up residences with the website "amberstudents . com". There are different off campus residences on there. That should be a great start depending on what you are looking for, you may be able to then search out private student residences in Birmingham as well. What I found with a couple of my friends is that it may be difficult for students who want to rent out certain apartments as some buildings may require 6 or 12 months rent upfront from student tenants. But again, it all depends on what you are looking for. I only suggest that its better to live somewhere that is all bills inclusive so you don't have to worry about utilities and all. I hope you are able to find and secure something.😆 I have a couple of videos to share over the summer that I think will be helpful based on my experience. You can let me know if you have any questions and want me to make a video about them as well.
