I was a fetal alcohol syndrome baby and I believe that’s why I had a hard time in school and even now.I go into a stare until I snap out of it. Anti-social, I feel I’m not on everyone else level (if that makes sense)

Congrats! What a sweet and uplifting story. I know all about trauma and children. After rearing six birth children and adopting 11, I’m in the process of adopting an adolescent from Bulgaria, the only country, except the US, that doesn’t restrict because of age. In LA County, I’ve waited SEVEN years to get a placement and “nada”. I’m incredibly healthy at 79. Unconditional love knows no age either for the giver or receiver. Sending lots of love to all of you.

I never heard of RAD before until I recently began mentoring two brother with it. Each with varying degrees of the the disorder. I think you said it best in having to trust in the GRACE OF GOD for his help! Especially in healing and forgiveness. I got a lot of learning to do!

I don't know if you will see this but thanks for this video I have 5 adopted. 1 with RAD but all have attachment issues. I hope that you are able to find healing! We found a therapy called ART therapy that is similar to emdr and it has changed our lives for the better!

Out in nature is always a solid choice. The candles and flowers were the cherry on top.

I am so impressed with you seeking answers to the WHYs with your kids. As a grandparent I am proud of you for sharing. There are questions we all need to have answers to. The drinkers & drug users don't seem to care how it affects others, including unborn babies. GOD BLESS you & yours always.

Has Amin tried a soft/baby type brush. I was diagnosed with acute gingivitis at age 16, (54 years ago) it helped + a sensitive toothpaste or a combination of baking soda with hydrogen peroxide to whiten. Electric toothbrush & flossing were completely out (the bleeding was horrible), his sensor issues would explode. This was the best one yet.
