Elon Musk: A Beautiful Mind
You people are so lucky to witness this
I cried watching this, dunno why, maybe it involved the marijuana.
You can see the shockwaves do adiabatic cooling
Year 2100 NASA: catch rocket for the first time. Space X: We did that in 2024
This gives a better idea of the initial speed than all the zoomed in shots, it really is a 20 story building falling out of the sky
Bluesky!
You were 10.5km away according to the sound delay
While the adolescents at NASA have been playing DEI and climate cult, private enterprise is surpassing new milestones in science.
All of this?! In sketchup!?
Badassery!
looks like a hoverround.
People cheering for rocket science makes me happy
All the videos have the sonic boom hitting right as it lands, I assume that was the plan. The video from Mexico surprisingly is slightly closer as the boom comes 6 seconds before landing.
HISSTORRRY !!! 🚀 🇺🇲
Boy oh boy are some 'people' easily amused. . Wonder what the real, actual efficiency is, when considering the cost per unit mass of launch and the life cycle of recovered boosters.... Mucks engineers didn't invent force vectoring, and it's use to guide a near-empty, bottom weighted, un-pay-loaded 'vehicle' is not impressive at all compared to the launch of a top-heavy, pay-loaded vessel. Think center of gravity and moment of inertia. Once again, deluded 'Mericans cheer for oligarchs stealing money from them by capitalizing on technology that was developed by those very same 'Merican's taxpayer dollars. Proving, yet again, that "one's born every minute"...
Who paid these guys to overreact!!??
Did the FAA, a government entity, fine them again for sending up a rocket to rescue two other government employees?
Nice catch Elon! You are single handedly changing the world.
If Elon can do this, I trust him to reshape our government. The waste and nonsense ends January 2025. We are going to Mars, but more importantly, our country won't be run by dysfunctional bureaucrats.
Making America Amazing again!
Caralhoooooooooook
Stupid
I don't know how many times I've watched this and it makes me tear up every time.
That's impressive
No democrats, no Republicans, just excited Americans.
so cool that the sonic boom and other sounds were perfectly delayed to strike when the ship landed. absolutely perfect
Elon Musk is really smart. 😊
Never forget that this was done by a private entity, not by the government.
Definitely not made in China.
Only Elon :>) amazing.
É incrível demais ❤
Nice cg trick.
That's some deceleration!
Nothing to it....easy peasy...........when you've spent quadrillions in getting there!
That’s really amazing!
Cant watch this without hearing Trump narrate the rocket and its big beautiful arms
It's safe to say that there were quite a few MAGA people in that crowd. Here's hoping Elon can do for DoGE what he did for this launch-and-catch!
Right into the rocking chair. Amazing!
WTF
This angle is better than the official Space X footage. It really shows the freefall all the way until the last second, and it allows me to really appreciate that the thrust is powerful enough to displace the atmosphere to the extent that it slows down something so massive. Can't wait for Musk to get into the govt so he can finally get a look at the details of the gravity-displacement drive that Bob Lazar has described from his time analyzing UAP at S4. Forget fossil fuels, next gen Starship will fold space like the Guild Navigators from Dune!
I'm guessing this is just the first of many booster recaptures, seeing one of these is definitely on my bucket list.
WOW ❤
I can't even throw a boomerang and have it come back properly
I have bottle rockets that can hit Uranus
you can see the sonic boom lol at 0:53
This is what unpaid “Joy” really is. America’s future is bright.

to the back of the line NASA. you are no longer relevant, nor required.
