I had seen some videos criticizing content farms and I think I can "summarize" it - Behind the screens, the content is made by one or a few ill-intentioned people, making soulless videos super frequently - Some of the goals of doing content farms are • Making money off of children being badly influenced by the brain rot that is the content farm (Very vibrant colors, excessive sound effects, childish themes) Besides the unfunny memes we've been having lately • To spread p*** through the platform, they They circumvent the media rules and post disgusting and inappropriate things without fear, knowing that moderation will barely do anything, because seriously, there are several degenerative videos that have been active even for YEARS! • And finally, which I already mentioned a little in the previous reason, given that RUclips will rarely do anything against it, the platform's moderation is ******* The algorithm and the search tool are also horrible, you just search for something like "sigma" and minutes later, your fyp will be full of these cringe "sigma" videos, the platform is horrible in terms of guessing what the viewer likes to watch, Coming back to the search tool, not even the filters help you find the specific things you want, instead, you'll see AI-generated content or anything else but what you want to see in your searchs!
