I met bill at bear paw landing in 2016. Had a very nice conversation with him on the porch of the lodge. I was 18 at the time and was in awe at everything he had to say and hearing about the places he has been. He told me if I was ever in Iowa to look him up haha. I still can see all the deer he had painted on his bow. I was happy to see he got his bear this season. Cant imagine how happy he was. I came across this video while hunting for a painting I could possibly buy somewhere online. Would love to have a meaningful piece and share the story of meeting him to others. I was hoping maybe to find a book about his life or some sort of bio. If there is such a thing please let me know!
