Ellen Babauskis | Our first Ayahuasca Ceremony | Ep. 11
In this episode, I'm joined by my incredible partner, Ellen Babauskis, as we share our transformative experience participating in our first Ayahuasca ceremony.
Ayahuasca is a powerful psychedelic plant medicine that expands consciousness beyond the five-sensory reality. It has the potential to reveal truths about the past, present, and future, enabling deep healing, clarity, and the beginning of a new transformation.
Our intention is to capture and describe our personal journey. Knowing that each Ayahuasca experience is deeply unique and varies widely, we hope that by sharing our insights, challenges, and realisations, we can contribute to the growing body of knowledge around plant medicine...

I started practicing Karate a while back, from what I hear here, Aikido sounds way more attuned to what I look for in a martial art and a dojo environment.

Don't "blame" anyone. Rather, it's important to understand why it's taught the way it is. I spent 5 years doing Aikido back in the 90s with some of the top instructors in the world, but left it because I wanted something more fight-oriented. However, over the years of doing other fighting arts, I realize how important my Aikido training turned out to be. The think is, Aikido is an entire art unto itself, and trains in it's own particular way. It's not a self-defense course that will give you basics you can run with in a couple of months, but this is also true of a lot of other classical martial arts. It's teaching a more sophisticated way to respond to attacks. It's important to understand that it comes out of post-war Japan, where overt fighting arts were illegal to teach. so the approach was one of an art or sport. But it does have to be pointed out that not every black belt is a good teacher, and i think these bad teachers have produced a lot of disgruntled students.

Dylan this is the best Aikido interview that I have ever seen, by a long way and I have been around for a long time. It took me a while to work out who you were, I could tell that you had some deep insights, and I was a bit confused, then I got it and I totally understood why. Anyway all the very best to your dad. I would happily drive many hours if your dad asked me too.

I think the main theme is discipline. But martial arts is just one example.

Nicotine patch (7mg ) for 6 days in conjunction with the spike protein removal protocol. It works. My vaccine injury/long haul story would blow you away. The protracted decline of my picture perfect health took me to the edge of a mental breakdown. It took having a stroke for doctors to figure out what was wrong.
