Good video but that is a incorrect description of what swing does in a daw. 8th not swing moved the and closer to the next beat. It doesn't randomize or change velocity. No biggy Just thought I'd mention.

cool, thanks for the video. but now after 40 minutes I still don't know how to record automation. That doesn't work and it's a damn shame. What should I do with a synthesizer with 60 parameters, it takes forever until I find the right parameter in the menu. This is a major weakness in Zenbeats

can we get a full tutorial for a simple song for v3?

I'm coming off of more than 15 years with magix. It never worked properly with kontact player. I would get it to work beautifully, but every time I reload it a song, I had to reset it. It works flawlessly in Zenbeats. I'm rediscovering a few add on tools that I bought for the player. I wasted a lot of years with that other program. I've been up for three nights making music with zenbeats. I can't stop.

Hello again - as i get deeper into the tutorials the menus appear radically different on the latest version of zenbeats. Your instructions are great but the options are near impossible to find if they exist at all. I have to ask why would they do that, or is it me???

Hello, Can someone pls help me, everytime that a Loop is sounding and later on I start recording audio sígnal to add on the loop, ínstead of remain looping the 2 bars Recorded, goes inmediately to the next empty bars, so doesnt sound and had select manually the bars to loop, all this just in the box of the audio channel, Hope I was clear, appreciate any help😮

What a clunky, time eating way to work with patterns. Why on earth would they not make it like Caustic where you can just click on the timeline of a track and paste whatever pattern you want from the loop view of the track without having to go back and forth between two different screens copying and pasting? This makes arranging so tedious if you don't want to real time record a performance.

And are all ZENBEATS the same (Windows, IOS, Android, etc.) or would you say the ZENBEATS on Windows is different than on iOS

Thanks for the videos. Not only is ZenBeats not intuitive, it's not tuitive on a small phone. The timeline is messy -.starts loops in the one that came before, inexplicably dark shadows loops cutting off half the beats. It's too easy to fat finger things. The whole thing is designed to who're for plug-ins. I'm going back to Caustic... Oh yeah, I've nicknamed my app "Sir Crash Slot.". One too many button presses and I either have swipe the app closed, or reboot my phone and wait for ZenBeats to reload. Briefly switch apps and come back to ZenBeats, wait for it to reload. We used to be able to buy toys, take them home and play with them. Now, we buy things and try to ignore the store clerk who followed us home and won't leave. Roland is like the door-to-door Kirby vacuum salesman who tries to sell you another attachment when you ask for help getting it to work. So, I guess that makes ZenBeats a Kirby, if you get my drift. This post is more for Roland. No disrespect to you. You make good videos.

After a day of buyer's remorse, I found my exports on Android by using the search bar. They're stored in ZenBeats, but ZenBeats doesn't appear as such in my file app.

I can't seem to get loops copied in the loop builder to paste in timeline view in Zenbeats 3. I don't know if I'm doing anything wrong or they changed something.

Some loops repeat and some only loop once when recording to the timeline. Is there away to set the amount of times a loop repeats?

Great tutorial. So the last option ( the one i was looking for) only works with midi controllers. Thus there isn't any similar option to control with on screen keyboard?
