Hi Brandon, we offer unlimited virtual accounts for any business checking account opened. You can create virtual bank accounts to hold your security deposits, maintenance reserves, or even your individual properties to track the expenses. You can earn 4.25% APY on any existing balance, and our integrated bookkeeping works excellently with our banking product. You can assign a property to a bank account to track the operating expenses.

@@baselane thanks for the prompt response. Does your bank accounts sync with other financial institutions that track aggregate finances like Empower/Personal Capital or Wealthfront?

@@brandonl9759 Yes, you can connect your external account to Baselane via Plaid. Once connected Plaid can pull up to 24 months of transactions depending on the external bank. I took a look the banking institutions Plaid partners with and Empower and Wealthfront are both on there. Unfortunately I do not see Personal Capital. Let me know if you have any other questions. @@baselane Thanks for the additional information. To be more clear with my question, I would like these bank accounts to be tracked/synced IN these other places. For example, these websites allow you to see your accounts from various institutions and I was hoping that I would be able to see my baselane accounts in the their websites/apps

Hi James, you can use Baselane for banking and bookkeeping, even with a property manager. Your PM can send the rent received into your Baselane bank account, and our integrated bookkeeping can help track the operating expenses. You can pull reports like NOI, Inflow & Outflow, and Schedule E (perfect for tax time).

Hi Umair, our rent collection tool is a great way to track your tenant's rent payments. Setting up a rent collection through our platform is quick and easy! You can add late and recurring fees, issue one-time invoices, and so much more. Your tenants have their own Baselane account to pay their rent and track their payments. Please note, you can connect your Baselane bank account to Venmo if you prefer to track and collect rent this way. We offer instructions on connecting under "Add funds" in the Banking dashboard. Zelle is only available among a consortium of large banks (it is a tool built and owned by a set of large banks), and it is not a feature offered by our sponsor Bank.

Baselane is also free for tenants. ACH payments are free, but we do charge a 2.99% convenience fee for rent payments made by debit or credit card; this covers our processing fees on card transactions. We have a tenant portal that your tenant will have access to once you invite them to the platform. From there, they can make payments, view their invoices, and more.
