I discovered Vox Dei back in maybe 2010, while exploring Last.fm band profiles sorting through music genres.
I fell in love with some of their most famous songs and later dug into their music catalog and found gold.
This song, specifically, is the opener of their best album, in my opinion (and not only mine), “La Biblia”, which is also considered as one of the first concept albums (talking about Progressive Rock) in Spanish language.
Pride of Argentina! Hope you enjoy the music.

Almost 2 years later, I'm back with a few new R.E.M. covers, in better quality, for sure! This time I'm bringing some kind of forgotten lovely song, with a melancholic vibe, called "Wendell Gee", off their "Fables Of The Reconstruction" (1985) record. Another video from yesterday's recording session, sort of. Obviously another R.E.M.'s song, called "Daysleeper", from their "Up" record, 1997. R.E.M. as a three-piece band, helped by session musicians during the recording of this album. Great record, new sound, more electronic in a bunch of songs. I love hearing Brian and Roger--I know well that Queen loved The Beatles, and Lennon and Elvis were Freddie's two performance idols. Brian still resents that he lived in London and his parents wouldn't allow him to see The Beatles when he was young. I love to hear Brian and Roger, and Paul has a great voice. I believe this was two weeks after the bombing.
Amazing cover mate! It is noticeable that you feel the song with your soul and I think that is the reason why the cover is so great! If you did not mention, it wouldn't have been noticed that you were singing in a language that is not your mother tongue.
