Take your time and have a look around. Enjoy the races.
I started filming races back in 1982 (as Tietje Video Taping) and continued through the mid 90's cataloging over 500 racing videos. Then in the late 90's and early 2000s I filmed various competitions that had its inspiration from the Old West, including rodeos, bull riding etc. In the late 2000s and through 2018 I made videos of motorcycling related subjects.

Good old days. I still have two midgets from the era, an Edmunds Autocraft VW & an Edmunds Mercruiser/Chevy II. Both from the Pacific NW & ran here in Idaho until about 2000.
Earl Baltes
Those were the days!! 🇺🇸👍
Just finding this channel now, really excited to scour through it all!
Man is that a tight track... I ran columbus indoors and feel it was bigger than this
If those guys would have tilted the wing down for more downforce they could have easily gained half a second easily. Hind sight is always 20/20
#34 is Jeff Hoffman sponsored by youngs garage
Do you have any videos from 1985 with the super modifieds. Really enjoyed the videos from the past. ✌️🇺🇸
I do have some supeemodified races from 1985. If I counted right 17 from Sandusky and 1 from Toledo. Most of the videos from Sandusky was shot by someone else that was filming for me at the time. With the exception of the bigger races that I filmed like the twin 30's, the Hy-Miler Nationals and the Cavalcade etc.
Those were the great days of supermodified.
some of these guys i never got to see race . what a show !
Too bad this isn't going on anymore!!
Awesome to see my father winning a race! Jerry Landon was in the yellow 82 and was in the yellow 8 sprintcar there as well.
Great Video!Thank you for the sharing
I was there!
Big tire, turn one won !
Thanks for the post. Good memories of K-zoo.... use to go there a lot.
Can't believe no one has said anything about family members being in a car. Where are these guys now ?
Currently, Wayne County Speedway.
I wanted to give the 44 the benefit of the doubt on the first wreck. Thinking he just misjudge how much room he had going to the inside. Though they should've black flagged him after the 2nd one nearly wrecking the whole field. Thanks for uploading all these videos. Always cool to see this stuff unarchived and posted to the world.
Who's bright idea was this?
What exactly are these ?
Supermodifieds. Tube frame in various configurations and engine sizes (small and big block) I recently read on All Things Supermodifieds Facebook page described this way "Imagine a car with the speed of an Indy Car and the handling of a Midget. Imagine a car so fast in the corners that it'll try to suck your head off your shoulders. Imagine 847 hp dangling next to your left leg. Imagine no more, welcome to the world of Supermodified racing."
These are awesome I had never seen this series before
It's like trying to ride a horse in a bathroom.
Todd Gibson one of the greatest supermodfied drivers of all time
Used go to the hymiler watch the Oswego boys take on the ohio boys in the 80-90s was fantastic
Miss those types of supers
If you have footage of Danny Holtsclaw in the red #3 Sprint car, I would love to see it. Thank you
Great video
ah those early more cowboy days, when there was some inventiveness, but also some lighter then expected cars, and the differant wing shapes on them some seem to have top corner chopped wing on them some seem a bit wider but legends of the sport many of them were.
kind of a small venue for sprintcars, wonder if they are full 700-950 hp like they run on dirt, usually its midgets that they race indoors, like the rumble or the gambler and those get crazy enough, but facinating none the less
Go Critter!
Thank you for uploading this!
Maybe just maybe if theyhad used dirt?
I was there on this night..Pretty sure the 42 was Gary Fedewa...I also saw Jeff Gordon for the 1st time at this track on a different night.. he was driving the #16 sprint car...he was 13...i have good memories from this track.
Just seems wrong seeing speed cars on bitumen..
Great! 🤩👍
Nice
Thanks for posting these videos! Really like the midgets
Got to spend many rainy days @ Kears speed shop admireriing this Man.what nice human being. Rest in Peace .
I don;t think those are late models... 6 cylinder sportsman more likely from the sound of them
They didn't run a 6 cylinder division at Millstream during the early 80's. Most Sunday races at the time had three classes. Sprints, Late Models, & Street Stocks. So going by the rules they (the 6 cylinder sportsman like they run at Fremont) would have had to run under the classification of Late Models.
In my opinion that era was the Golden Age of Outlaw Sprints. Steve Kinser, Sammy Swindell, Jeff Swindell, Doug Wolfgang, Shane Carson, Jac Haudenschild, Brad Doty ( before his tragic accident), Bob y Allen. Tickets to those races were worth every penny!
Was in attendance there in '78 & '79 backed up to the fence in turn 4. First 2 Outlaw shows. Earl Baltes palace.
ah its nice to see something of the old times at the iconic north indiana track, was one of the few big tracks in indiana, now foreever quieted I dont know if it will ever reopen but its still there so far 4 years later, suposedly the airport is going to develop it I dont know
Nice, I grew up with USAC midgets, but that was great heat and those VW engines, at that time they ruled. Thanks for showing
Billy Pauch held the world record at 144+ mph at Syracuse in 1994 until Paul MacMahan broke it at Rolling Wheels Elbridge N.Y. at over 145 mph on a 5/8 mile track which is only about 15 miles from Syracuse!
When it comes to all out speed of any type of vehicle I tend to think of the Bonneville Salt Flats. Damion Gardner best time in a sprint car was 211.58844 mph. That may have been broken by now. Everyone knows records are made to be broken. It is exciting to see a a new track record set/broken anywhere and it is a great accomplishment for the driver and crew that put the vehicle on the track (not to mention is some cases, the track preparations personnel). That is one of the reasons I like time trials/qualifying.
211 mph is fast for a sprint car but he was going in a straight line ,i'm sure they got up t0 160+ down the straights but going 160 mph then having to turn left that takes BALLS!@@RealGritProductions
On a rail !
I like all your work it's great
Thank you.
Rick Ferkel. My original sprint car hero. An original sprint car genius builder and set up driver. I would get goose bumps watching him race. He was one of my greatest incentives for getting into owning a sprint car and running in the USAC series. Wish we could have been as successful at it as he was at being an Outlaw. My other most admired person was Carl Kinzer. Much appreciated his sharing his thoughts on sprint car set-up whenever I could corner him. An awesome crew chief with Steve. I am honored to have been in the same decade with these two "GOATS". Thank you for allowing me to share my thoughts on here.
This could pass for 2004 footage. Thanks.
Man that's one fast track.
