    FYI one does not need the cassette tool for chainring removal. Just leave chain on and hold the wheel while loosening the cassette ring. And when tightening the chainring just install non driveside crank first and use that as to tighten chainring.

    Is pickleback chill for a beginner if they roll everything and is massanutten or bryce better in your opinion

    • @jdmtb
      @jdmtb 3 месяца назад

      Not everything on Pickleback is rollable. There is a mandatory wood step up and drop. I’d say Bryce is better for beginners because it has smoother trails. Massanutten has some easy trails at the bottom that are beginner friendly but the bottom lift is very slow. Overall, I like Massanutten better because of the faster upper lift and the greater variety in trails. That’s just my opinion though 😉

    • @chuckstr1981
      @chuckstr1981 Месяц назад

      Last year at bryce the lift malfunctioned and was down for about 2 hrs. Everyone who didnt want to wait was comped a free day. I get trail closures are annoying especially if you are traveling to a place and paying to ride. However this is all part of a good dh park. Unlike the one closest to me that does virtually no trail maintanice during the season to the point of recklessness. If a trail is closed it is most likly a safety concern. That said a updated closure list online or otherwise would be nice but closing a trail right before the park opens is common at all lift parks if the staff deems it so. Its all chance that you take going to pay to ride places.
