This is a prayer that Contains the Names through which the Creator of Beings and Things (God) can intercede in favor of those who invoke Him with their Heart and Soul. Aná bekoach (Hebrew: אנא בכח) is a mystical poem, in which there are six words per line and a total of seven lines. The last sentence is not counted, as it is an exclamation of praise to the Most High Gd; The sentence is not counted because the 42 words previously said would correspond to one of G-d's names, composed of 42 two letters; Hence, after saying His Holy Name, there is nothing better than praising Him. However, it is not an acronym. 42 were also the number of stops that the people of Israel made, from Egypt to the Holy Land, during the Exodus. The Qabalah, in turn, explains that the first phrase of the poem is related to the fourth Sefirah, Chessed. Ana Bekoach is one of the oldest and most powerful Kabbalistic prayers. Kabbalist Rav Nachunya ben Hakana was the first sage to reveal this combination of 42 letters, which make up the power of creation. Ana Bekoach is a special formula with 42 letters written in seven sentences, giving us the ability to transcend the physical world and all its limitations. It is known as The 42-Letter Name of God. The seven phrases: Correspond to the seven Sefirot, from Chessed to Malchut. Although there are 10 Sefirot in total, only the bottom seven exert influence over our physical world.
