Can u pls do a video on oil pastel still life?
Thank you, Susan. I love your teaching. Just beginning with pastels, including pan pastel.. Glad to know about the charcoal pencil.
I enjoyed watching and learning about your process. Just decided to get some pastels because I find them lovely! I am clueless right now but you gave me some insight. Watercolor and acrylic painter, intermediate level. Not sure what I should. approach first! Thank you. Beautiful work and inspiring.
merci j adore ta technique avec l alcool très beau
I'm guessing there will be a part 2?
Thank you ❤
I used to frame for a living and came across a lot of artwork that was stuck to the glass regardless of being taped on the sides. be careful.
❤❤❤
A great video. Thank you. But how does your pastel box attach to the tripod?
There is an attachment called a quick release that comes with the tripod. It is 2 pieces. One attaches to the tripod the other screws into the bottom of the pastel box. Hope that helps!
This is SO helpful. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for your advise about pastel plain air Susan, and we are no ti far away. Please let me know if you have in the future a presential workshop. I would love to join you.
Hi! I am glad you enjoyed the plein air video. I offer different classes and workshops. I would invite you to join my newsletter to stay informed - www.susankuznitsky.com/email-newsletter
Would you mind sharing the name of the box and easel? Thanks so much! Love your video.
Sure. I am using Sienna plein air box with pastel insert and a sienna panel holder. Any sturdy tripod will work. you can find them on Amazon or Blick. Hope that helps.
thank you for sharing your talent !
Thanks for listening
Exactly what i need !! so nice !!!
I enjoyed your studio tour. I am a new artist and it is interesting and helpful to see how other artist work. It is lovely that you surround yourself with your work too.
So much wonderful information Susan. I feel encouraged to go plein air painting now! Your work is beautiful!
Go for it!
Thank you!
Love you studio ❤ it’s so wonderful seeing lots of art surrounding you in every spot with the birds singing in the back ground. Would love to met you and take a workshop one of these days .
Wow. Loved this. Appreciate you explaining the whys of your thought process. Many do not or just plain forget. I’m a person who loves to know “why”. Also such great explanation of the various framing options without making it seem so complex. Loving your teaching methods.
Beautiful🙏🏻
Breathing is a good thing while painting,no thinking though🤣
On Wallis original I tried an experiment and was able to pass 11 times before the surface became slick😜🤪😂😀
For sharpening ANY PENCIL OR PASTEL, I find an exacto knife or a hardware store razor blade gets you the finest chiseled point possible and when it doesn’t work, throw it out and grab another🥇🥰👍🏻🙏🏻
Lovely
Beautifully painted 😀
Beautiful! It’s lovely to see the development of this painting in real time. Very inspiring! Thanks for sharing this. 🙂
