Solo Camping: Red Feather Lakes Colorado
Sometimes it can be hard to find places to camp in Colorado and then on top of that, do it alone. Although I'm pretty familiar with the Red Feather Lakes area, it had been years since I'd been out there. I did a bit of off-roading and exploring (I really need to get a GoPro.) If you're afraid to go out alone, I hope this encourages you to do it. Be smart, be safe, and most importantly, have a good time.

Don't make the same mistake we did... read the signs!! (Most State Parks are reservation only for campsites. National Parks have plenty of dispersed camping options!!)

Glendo State Park is located in Glendo, Wyoming. The park is open year-round for day use and camping. From May 1st to September 30th, reservations are required at most campsites. From October 1st through April 30th, all sites are available only on a first-come, first-served basis. Here's a quick vlog of my camping trips in NW Colorado! I did my first solo trip in the Poudre Canyon at the Kelly Flats Campground. Later that week spent a long weekend up at the Gates of Lodore with my friends! If you want to see more about my camping set up comment below!
If it's in Wyoming, it's overrated.
I just stayed a night there. It was super hot, so the place was half empty. No reservation needed. I was in TM 72, right next to where you were camped. There were people partying at 1am right next to me, screaming and yelling. I had to move. Packed up at 1am and moved. Not a fun time. Apparently, there’s no enforcement of noise regulations.
Enforcement, that would cost $.
Thinking of taking my wife, kids, and my wife’s family to Glendo here soon. Thank you so much for this video. I especially appreciated the prayer before the meal. It’s a beautiful thing to see a family praying together. God bless.

I've given up on pinecones all they do is smoke in my stoves no matter which way I set the fire grrrrr
Garlic butter on the steak first
I put the butter on top of my steak cover loosely with tin foil letting it rest for 7 minutes THAN I cut it up.
