You should always wait until a puppy is 8 weeks old before bringing them home, and I know you said they were checked, eating & weaned off the mama. But that age is some of the most important developmentally for puppies, and being around their mama & littermates can teach them the social skills they'll need to grow into a well rounded adult. In fact some breeders & Vets recommend waiting until 12 weeks, but I stick with the 8-9 week period. The majority of reputable breeders wouldn't ever let a puppy leave their Kennel before 8 weeks, and some States I've heard has laws against taking puppies away from their mama before 8 weeks. And before anyone says, "oh what makes you so smart"? Well I raised my first litter of puppies in 1993, and have been going since. So I've been around a lot of Dogs, and watched how they develop. And I raise Champion Boxers.

Our Hershey passed away 21 years ago today. She had cancer. We only had her for 7 short years, but each year with her was a joy! Miss her and I hope that my son and my parents are all together again.
