I know it was our favorite!!! Hopefully the new version is just as good, we'll know in a year or so.

We took it back to Savis Workshop, and after about 15 minutes they brought it back to us and it was fixed and all was good. Then a few weeks later the same thing happened and we haven't fixed it since. It must be a common defect as this is way more common than it should be considering how much we paid.

I keep trying to tell people how insanely insane this ride is but words can’t do it justice, although your description is as close as you can get to understanding the insanity of Gwazi without riding it. @@themeparklyfe You are very kind to say so and also to have provided the video. It appeared to me to be in slower motion than the actual ride. I actually thought you were perhaps testing the ride (like an executive of the park might do) at a slower speed just to check it out, because it’s not like that in person. It looks like you’re going half speed. Maybe it has to do with the filming and can’t be replicated. You can’t explain GWAZI in words to anyone; I simply attempted to, although you know I was still unsuccessful. I’m 5 days off the ride and I still can’t get it off my mind. As I said, I’m not obsessed with roller coasters and hadn’t ridden any in the prior 7 years or so. I did happen to go with someone who, on the other hand was. I did arrange to ride the less intense coasters first, and rode each one twice in both the front and back seats. Everything was fine, the rides were great and things were progressing well - until this beast came along. Good lord, I find myself just staring into space countless times a day, before I realize I’ve had yet another mental ride. You think you can’t go to heaven and hell at the same time? Think again. This Leviathan grabbed me and wouldn’t let go before it turned me into near dust because it evaporated everything except my soul and red blood cells. When you imagine a near-death experience, well here you go. You hate someone? Put em on this thing. Love someone? Put em on this thing. You’ll hate yourself the instant you arrive at top in space, because that’s when you’re about to get it, and buddy you’re in for it bigtime! You are so screwed, so hold on. When you get off (and in my case I nearly did), you'll feel like you've touched land for the first time in your life and look down to make sure you still have feet and haven't pissed your shorts. You can’t tell someone what it’s like to drink a beer, smoke a joint, have sex or get run over by a train; it’s something you must do on your own (hopefully not the train part). The words just aren’t there; it’s not our fault. When I say it was life-changing, let me share something and this is just one example. Today I went from Lakeland to Riverview (next door to Tampa), taking the winding back roads I’d never been on going somewhere I’d never been to pick up something. There was a car on my ass so I sped up and then I thought of GWAZI and then away I went. Right, left, sharp curves, up & down hills and over a bridge (hate those) and lost that guy real quick. On I-4 back I found myself going 80 thinking I was going slow; I usually do 65 but felt like I was going 40. I usually don’t take the highway because folks are going so fast, but that was then, now is different. I’m looking outside my window at home now at the clouds, thinking of those being the last I saw at the top of GWAZI and the horizon of the whole state, before my shuttle to Saturn bolted me so fast my clothes could have flown off and I wouldn’t have known it. I have the same emotion now I did when I wrote that post a few days ago; same tear comes back each time. It has changed me and even when I was at the donut shop yesterday with my coffee, I was staring out the window thinking of how I used to be; nearly feels like I was missing somewhere or something, because since then I have just seen things differently and I can’t explain it. It’s not obsession, it’s more like a heightened awareness; I just see things with a different perspective as silly and crazy as I realize that sounds. I don’t expect everyone to have the profound experience I did, but if someone did, I hope to meet them so we can talk about it. Even Spock would tell you, I can’t have that discussion with anyone who has not had the same experience; there is no frame of reference.

Hey, if you ever see that blip now on I-4, it's me; I just passed you... Oh, by the way, I've seen other videos since and they all appear in slower motion. Like I said, it's not like that in person. My ass will promise you, it's not like that. I really don't think it can be replicated on film; you just have to be there. Now that I think of it, since it takes a week to get your brain back, it might just be worth admission just to watch other people blow their minds on it. Of course, that would be after trying to self-tear my own limbs apart on it first, plus I won't have to shave for days if I still have skin left. I'm not even going into the other 6 planets I passed meanwhile. I didn't think to do that at the time. Fact, I wasn't thinking at all. But, if I was throwing you around and flipping you in circles faster than a helicopter blade, you might not be thinking very clearly either. What you read was a note. If you want to read what my experience was really like, grab a snack, get a drink, sit back, take a breath and get ready; I got a ride for you. I'll go with you; I'd be honored to. I'm only available on days that include a vowel and on either side of, and including 12 on a clock. Jonny

@@themeparklyfe if you’re planning on just getting another one, it’s a good learning experience to take things apart and try and put it back together. While you’re at it you can check each connection or find if the wires are crimped somewhere and use a but connector to fix it.

We rode Iron Gwazi first thing this morning in front row and he loved it, favorite new ride!! Video turned out great, will load in a couple days. We are going to ride again in the back later today.
