spot on list, EXCEPT the two Halloween movies. The first was ok I guess, save the occasionally cheesy trope-y dialogue. Halloween kills was absolute trash imo. inane dialogue and over the top silliness at every turn. "evil dies tonight" good lord, that was utterly awful. and of course Michael dispatching a company of firefighters with power tools. 🤣 david gordon green effs up another IP. otherwise... Hell yeah! Hell House and Creep are LEGEND.

I loved this season it went and surpassed my expectations so far it's one par with the first season in my opinion the setting,music and kills were all awesome Chucky felt scary here and the old man look was iconic:)

The Thing, Alien, The Evil Dead, and Night of the Living Dead have stood the test of time.

It's only been within the past year that I finally saw the 2019 Child's Play remake. I was surprised by how much I liked it. But I absolutely LOVED Bear McCreary's score for the film. Especially the main theme. I thought that it was so effective in capturing the effect and tone it was aiming for. Pretty ironic since I've always hated the original film's theme.

Cabin Fever FREAKED me out as a kid. Still scares me to this day

Always thought hostel part 3 was really entertaining and a nice continuation,would have been better if it wasn't a straight to dvd release tho

Trash 4th movie, doesnt compare to the last 3.

Its not a bad stand alone movie. It has nice animation good voice acting, amazing fights scenes and a pretty good not complicated story. But it hard, not to compare it to other movies. It feels unfinished or like one of those "legend of epicness" animated series movie. It also had Such a potential. With Zhen, Han and Chameleon acting as dark pararels to Po own story. Also why add other villains if you won't do something interesting with them? Stand alone? I give it 8 stars but if compare to other movies 4,5 maybe 5 stars out of ten. Would definitely watch it again.

Yet to watch it. not in a Hurry. though from what I've read the movie feels like its disconnected from the previous movies.

Yes I completely agree with you because I know the films been getting quite a lot of hate since it's released but most of that is people comparing it to the other movies but as a solo movies it was definitely a 4 star for me,it's good to know someone has the same opinion as me

This whole video I was prepping to comment “what about The Texas Chainsaw Massacre?” and then the last seconds of the video played out. My favourite shot of any horror movie ever is when Sally is walking over to the Sawyer house, the lighting, the backdrop and the suspense is incredible!

Even the worst horror movies have amazing cinematography

The funny thing is that horror movies also tend to do very well at the box office for profitability. James Wan, for example, oversaw Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Nun, and some other standouts like Malignant, M3GAN, and a couple others. Sure he also got dealt a couple wildcards like the Mortal Kombat and Aquaman series, but he definitely has a solid eye for horror. And he's one of the big reasons why it's been thriving for a good 15 years in the mainstream. He's also stepping in to adapting Stephen King's Salem's Lot and The Monkey stories to film.
