From Fish lake to the Columbia River.

PCT OREGON 2024 DAY 19

Back on trail after 2 days in Bend. I have made it to South sister. After a long walk from Elk Lake I am ready for a good nights rest:

Working my way through the lava fields

Worst day on trail. Hell! My foot hurts so bad with every single step: 18.5 miles over lava to get to Big Lake Youth Camp.

Finally out of the Lava. Ane into a 50 mile burn. On my way to Olallie

The day I crossed The Sandy River.

After a quick night in government camp, I have made it to the banks of the Sandy river. After the hottest day on trail, we decided the river was too high. We would sleep it off and cross in the morning when the water is low what a rush.

23.8 mile day to celebrate Kizmits completion of the tripple Crown! I’ve never walked 24 miles one day in my entire life. I ended in tears and moved my reservation so I could get a hotel and rest made it to government camp.

Warm Springs Indian reservation and alive forest. I’ve never been so happy to be out of a burn zone.

Made it to Olallie Lake and 500 miles!! Almost home.

Making my way to Elk Lake where i get off trail and rest. 100 trip miles and 400 PCT Miles is quite the milestone
